still no mention of Constituent Assembly .
Something to fight for now, eh ?
Yeah! Re-instatement of Parliament!
Now you have it ! Cheers !!!
Hey this shows that the people can change any thing.
This is the power of the people
this is the way to the peace
JC
well constituent of assembley will be decided by Parliament
Re-instatement of Parliament is a very good thing.
I think decision of CA should be taken by parliament.
And the best thing he did was that he acknowledged the andolan. He didn’t potrayed it as something he is doing just for the no reasons. He also managed to offer condolences to the family of deads in result of the andolan.
Don’t worry parliament will decide whatever it likes. First thing you must talk with Maoists and whether they agree to lay down their arms or not as a precondititon for the elections to CA. If they are friend of the people, they must agree, otherwise other harsh options cannot be ruled out.
what moderated at this time?!!
Happy!!! Bhery Bhery Happy!!
Thank you all!!, being far away for so long, I have never been so close to home!!
All the bests!!!
Yes very happy. Very very happy : )))))))))
Hi Guys,
Can any of you, how watched the proclamation post a summary of it? It would be a great help for people like me leaving far away from the homeland.
Thanks
Am so happy could kiss you all-Maoists, Royalists and my fellow Democrats! SPA you better not let the people down this time around.
There is lot more to be done before going to CA. Like majority of Nepalese don’t even know what is CA, what are the things will be there etc. For CA it will take some time.
But guys King did the right thing.
I love you brave people of Nepal !
I cry, but I’m so happy !!!
Jaï Nepal !
Thanks Cyp!
Yeah he also offered condolences which was the best part.
SPA should come to their senses now.
To all those who marched the streets risking your lives- I salute you! I am forever indebted!
congratulation to all nepalese .. we must not let this opportunity to pass.. we can bring peace back to our country and let this be the first step.
let the parliament decide about the constituient assemply .. we have to rewrite the constitution and make sure that the monarchy does not become a hindrace to the development of our country again.
i want to thank everyone who has risked their lives to bring back democracy in our country .. u all are bravve people.
nepalese people have set an example for the whole world .. lets keep the good work going.
Lets hope tomorrows morning brings HOPE, PEACE AND PROSPARITY TO THIS COUNTRY.
Kings restore the Magh 19 which could be beneficial for the leaders but what we all nepalese are fighting for is not that ! What all you think.
congratulations to everone… I hope this will be enough… I congrats the king too… it was too close for comfort
but why are Kantipur channel and nepalnews.com down?
NC D is positive about proclamation.
Look Acidburn
Restoration of Parliament is not the total destination. But its the start and the way from which everythings can be achieved.
Hi guys wonderful man
i had not known this news .i was studying because of my exam but now
wow!!!!!what a great…………great to people’s revolution
Nepali Janata Jindabad
Rajtantra Murdabad.
Nepalese’re fighting for peace and democracy in the country. The original andolan called by SPA wasn’t the andolan for Republic Nepal. That’s the fight of the restoration of democracy. Republic of Nepal is not far away, but now you have different options for it. More ways have been paved. It is a long term process and it will be achieved. Mark the words for that.
When the environment for the election of Constituent assembly can be achieved with the help of Maoists, somehow Raja will be toast. We need to concentrate more on that, instead of focusing more on the bloody revolutions.
Congratulations everyone!!
Now we need to bring peace in our country… I now request the Maoists to stop the violence and join the mainstream politics.. Too many people have died already…
tomorrow’s SPA big showdown has been cancelled
yeah Glade-evolution is better than revolution!
pawan are you sure? where did you hear that?
guys now we have to continue people’s power and parliament should decide to hold the ca’s election………Gagan Thapa and Mitra haru, Neta haru darbar ma gayera raja saga hat milayera janata ko adhikar pheri khoslan Hosiyarrrrrrrr
Aba parliament ma jane ho ra Constituent Assembly ko election ko declare garne ho
Ganatantra Jindabad
I heard the SPA rally tommorrow will be a victory parade.
are people celebrating out there on the streets??? man do i wish i was in KTM now
Glade: you always seem to keep the best thing for the last, at least for me:
“When the environment for the election of Constituent assembly can be achieved with the help of Maoists, somehow Raja will be toast”
Amen Brother.
its on Flash news of Nepal One channel/
Hi Better Nepal,
Dont you think that democracy had gone back to same old crapy leaders hand. I am also confused what we want, but I can say we nepalese needs an revolution, dont want to repeat the same mistake again, still need to find the way inbetween for the maoist as well. thats only the way we can walk towards peace. What all you say.
why showdown cancelled?
we have to show that plus we have to celebrate victory. It is Nepali people’s victory over autocracy
ekantipur is running
I think every Nepali should understand that King can not go beyond that. He has been already pushed to the wall. NC and UML together in parliament, 90 percent seats in the parliament. Now they can pass whatever they like and King cannot say no to the proposal of the PM which came through parliament according to the Article 35.
My only apprehension is Maoists- whether they agree to lay down the arms or not as a precondition to the elections to the Constituent Assembly or not. If still they ask for a republic, then there would be again a problem but all the countries and International community including UN may not be OK with the Maoists and they may be in trouble internatinally and in the eyes of Nepali people..
My neighbourhood is asleep! But they will be filled with hope when they wake up.
Kirat: there is revolution within evolution, it is called: Punctuated equilibrium.

Layman, finally I agree with you again! I understand that the Maoist’s have sort of agreed on the restoration of the house as a first step. Maybe I was wrong about them!
I must one another point that politcal leaders I hope will not fight for PMship at this critical hours for the country and take one week to come with name of the next PM on Frday itself. They must rise above the petty personal and party interest. Also they would not invovle themselves in corruption. If they do so, we have to kill them one by one.
Nepal One channel Flash news, SPA welcomed the proclamation.
I must add…
Layman I agree with you again!
It’s good news
A great advent!
The KING addressed to the nation few minutes before. He showed his affection to the people who were there on the streets , and that was the major amendment he made to his speech than last time. The parliament was reinstated and i believe its the major advent to the history of NEPALESE politics. Being very optimistic , i have few things in mind.
Its not what we were fighting for. Its just the beginning. The beginning to a BETTER MAINSTREAM politics in NEPAL. The beginning to debate around and coming up with solution that must be accepted by all .
The parliament now decides for the Constitutional Assembly. The parliament now thinks of letting Maoists come into mainstream politics. And people will choose the leaders. Now , its to see if the people really thought alike on the roads. Its to see now , if we all are really deeply concerned about mainstream politics in NEPAL for the better future. Its to see , if we can really meet the challenges that come ahead of us now . And its the real protest ( mind protest ) we have to be in now. Between idealogies, between theologies . Lets see if we can really meet upto the expectations we all were in.
pawan, yes! I believe it’s going to be a victory rally for tomorrow now!
“I think every Nepali should understand that King can not go beyond that”
Layman, i dont know about you but a lot of folks instantly changed their minds and thought the same when the King announced last relieving the powergrab.
On other note: does it not seem that whatever happened here happened w/o any foreign interference…especially the US giving “get out now” orders to the Americans in Nepali?, I also wonder if king going for this in full throttle is a anti-indian reactionary aptitude.
