   Might be it is not milky way because milky way is not red. I like the picture . Its very beautiful.

      You my friend, are very wrong. First, a galaxy does not have a particular color. It’s color as seen on earth is determined by the age of all stars in it and how much the emitted light has managed to reach the Earth. Meaning, it will look different to your naked eye, from a ground based observatory or a satellite. Second, our parent star, the sun lies in Milky Way galaxy which is the only galaxy we can see. All the other, will only seem like dimming, shinning stars to your naked eyes. This is the Milky Way.

   What about Andromenda Galaxy and Triangulum? Cant we see it from here on earth or especially Nepal?
