Gyanendra has offered too little too late. He is bargaining like a businessman. His announcement gives sence of conspiracy. One one hand he ask the name of PM and in otherhand he announces curfew, puts leaders (JN khanal and BD Gautam)in prison. Many leadrs and activists are still on prison. Do not trust him, do not give him the benefit of doubt. He have betrayed and he will deceive again.
SPA should calm down the crowd if,
    1. he releases all political prisoners
    2. disowns army and security forces.
    3. gives all the power to the following govermnet to negotiate with the maoist
    4. let people d3ecide on Monarchy

    very correct Gita.
and he should do this by abdicating the throne. there is only two choice for him now. either voluntarily relinquish the throne or be humped by the mass ” people war “.
    too much is too much.

jackal in a silver coat, i guess he didnot study this ” moral story ” when as kid.
either way, jasko “gyan ” chaina , uskai naam “….. ” , how bizarre !

KG shows himself as an indian puppet. India should realize that one family does not represent 26 million people anymore.

Stop you dirty propoganda. They do not have sense of priority of news.

SPA never made their agenda clear.
People made their agenda clear that they want repblic state.
Its true King has not offered much, but its inability of SPA to negotiate what they want.
To save the country from possible anarchy SPA must
start bargaining with king instead of rejecting it .
Now you will have power to anounce CA and you have backing of people. This should be the safe landing.
We can get republic gradually but not at once.
If we want it right now we have very tough route.

King just spoke what India and USA want. Neither PM for 7 parties is sufficient nor did they lead the people. People want political stability for forever. King did not spoke about Moist who are also Nepalese. They and their spirit are nearer of Nepalese than India & USA. If Maoist leaves arms and come to multi-party democracy through the constitutional assembly then there is nothing to fear and taking headache for India & USA. Nepalese people posses right to choose & make their government, here so-called giant neighbour(s) (moreover lifeline! too much!!) India wants to save monarchy which is not accepted by at least 1 % and main cause of violence as well as development. So, protestor should not accept King’s offer.

If Maoist changed their word after probable settlement then Nepalese will not hesitate to kick them off likewise currently for monarchy.

So, protestor should not accept King’s offer. After all Nepalese are not slave, no longer able to feed billions of rupees to sustain monarchy instead of minimum cost for future elected president in republic and better personality than king.

    As of latest:
Parallel Government will be formed (most likely) within 24 hours. Didn’t I advise to do that yesterday? Look at my wisdom heheheh!!
I beleive Maoists must be dragged into government. I propose Daman nath Dhungana, Padma Ratna Tuladhar, Ram Bahadur Thapa, Madhav Nepal, Narahari Acharya, Gagan Thapa, C.P Mainali, Rohit or his nominate, Pashupati Samsher/Surya Bdr Thapa nominate, One more Maoist (preferably lady, like Hisila Yemi), need to be in portfolio – without caring for senior/juniour post (this is for saving Nepal). With this portfolio and agenda for CA election (I would want unconditional, but perhaps a tag line – like ceremonial king – without absolutely any executive power should be OK).
Spread this idea guys, if you think it’s a right thing!!!

“The demonstrations turned violent in several places in Kathmandu and its suburb Patan. In some instances, groups of young men
destroyed public and private property, attempted to set fire to government buildings, and attacked police with stones and bottles. Police initially exercised restraint, but by the third and fourth day of the protests police fired indiscriminately into crowds or at specific curfew violators. At least 16 people were killed, including several innocent bystanders.”

Sounds like a paragraph from yesterday’s newspaper? WRONG. This is from the 1993 Nepal Human Rights Report. Girija at the helm, communists on the streets. So protesters are fired upon in “democracies” too, right? Or, as the SPA obsessively says about everything, wat it the palace’s ploy?
