    MASSACARE AT CHANDRAGADHI

They seem to have started it now…the final push of the killers…they are now giving their final try….they have killed 4 and injured 100s just in one place and it wouldn’t be wonder if this thapa and shah say that the maoist are responsible as one of their own were injured by the bullets…18 hour curfew for kathmandu….and a senseless drama of realease of some leaders and meeting…nothing can save this killer and his gang now…Still there are people who support this killer and this gang….and this is no wonder…they were born impaired….so guys it’s useless to discuss with them…they don’t even seem to have human feeling for our own brother who went there for peace and prosperity for us…even for those who bark like dog against them…they will always find reason to shout coz even u can try to prove hitler, stalin, idi amin right if you never belive in truth…………

I like the shloka. It is at the right moment you posted it thank you.

King still wants to hold on to power by declaring curfew tomorrow. I think we are having a big show. This king wants to kill more people to satisfy his ego.He does not care about human lives. He thinks Nepaless lives is like insects lives. He came to power saying that he has eyes and ears but it seems that those things he has but he does not have a brain and humanity towards his own fellow citizens.

(Should have started a new thread but here it is all the same)
We’re real lucky fellas, aren’t we? We’re on the verge of the most defining moment of our history, the rebirth of our nation, and we’re going to witness that. Say how many people in this world can claim to be alive when the most momentous event in the history of their country was taking place? If you take the god damn Africans out of the equation, I believe there is no country in Africa by the way, well you won’t have much left, except for a few ol’ Japanese (there are quite a few of them actually). Something tells me tomorrow will be the day when history will be made here in Nepal and lo and behold, we’re going to witness that. Come to think of it man, it could be an event comparable to the declaration of independence by the United States all those years ago. So first thing in the morning, it’s going to be one hell of a beautiful morning by the way, grab your camera and take a picture of the sunrise, because it will probably herald the beginning of the new era for Nepal. And one more thing, I got a SMS early this evening (many of you might have got that too though), couldn’t forward it to anyone for I haven’t been able to recharge my card and so here it is:
‘Nepali ragat bageko cha mutu ma bhane swontantra Nepal ko nirman garna 7 gate sadak ma utra!! Loktantra jindabad..!!’
You will be there, won’t you?

I donot understand how you are managing your censorship sceme here…I see very genuine comments being censored whereas the disgusting and offendable comments like that of replytoall (see coments by him or her in crackdown of nepali journalism :comment no 10) are easily finding the place here. I am not complaining merely because it is offendable to me but because of those kind of comments will make you loose your credibility. …and also be aware..here are so many female bloggers and this a nepali blog i guess.

UWB does not have any concrete way of blocking comments. I think if you ever copy and paste on the form then it makes you comments await moderation. I have written to Wagle and Acharya and told them repeatedly that they should jusr remove this censorship crap. Occasionally they can come in remove the comments (eg. replytoall) that are irrelevant and offensive. But they have paid no attention to my suggestion. I don’t think they really care…

The outcome of this movement is guranteed to be in favor of people and that is nearing soon. The atrocities that the royal thugs have committed will never be forgotten and it is our responsibility that we do not let these thugs escape out of the country when that moment arrives, especially Tulsi Giri, he has ran before and he may have already booked one way ticket out of the country this time, I urge people not to let this person get out of the country before he faces the justice handed by the very people he despised. The thugs like Kamal Thapa will be easier to handle, this time we will make sure these bastards pay the price of disrespecting the will of people and derailing the entire process of political, economical, governmental and social lives. The king, should be tried in our and international criminal court for violating human rights, killing innocent protesters, corruption and looting of the country. Even if he survives this, he should be forced to beg for any mercy from people and made to earn respect from the people. What used to be given thing, he has to earn every bit of the hand out from the national coffer here after. People who were cuddling with him to force the contry to her knees, should be punished by nationalizing their properties, wealth and any businesses. Above all we need to lock these people in the same jails that they put innocent protesters for only demanding back what was theirs in the first place.
This day is coming, let’s not forget the sacrifices people have offered and lives lost, let’s think of the ways how we can pay back and give them thanks for what they have done, let’s think of the way we are going to go forward so we never encounter this sort of mess again….

i have had problems with UWB posting as well. i would say they dont have a mechanism running for censoring but then, there are cases enough to say it’s really irregular and random. i have sent in my complaints and suggestions too but they haven’t said anything yet. i guess they dun really care at this point…

as this blogsite keeps growing, i hope the ppl. behind it realise the importance to encourage feedbacks and improve the sytem. isn’t that what we are trying to do in Nepal, UWB?

Perpahs when he gets back he will look into this…

Anyway I am anxiously waiting for Thursday… this I believe will be a very crucial day in the history of Nepal… For all the people out in the streets my prayers are with you… light always overcomes darkness in the end!

The problem of UWB, both of founders in abroad (say temporary run a way). Why they accept in this crucial situation those invitation. It means Nepalese doesn’t leave any opportunity (SITTAI MA PAYE ALAKTRO PANI KHANCHHA).I think they don’t have such manpower to true reporting from all over the country right now. Then their posting is as above April 16th photo on 19th. It will better why you don’t put the some more photo of last Feb movement. You can fill in the blanks.

I hate king but lets be realistic. As long as he steps down and backs off I don’t care to prosecute him. If you talk about prosecuting then we are going greatly complicate this situation … because what about the abuses the Maoist have comitted? the curruption of the political parties? Everyone is responsible!
If there was someway it would be ideal to just take all these people (Girija Prasad, King Gyanendra, Tulsi Giri, Kamal Thapa, Sher Badhur Deuba, Baburam and Prachanda) put them on an spacecraft and dump them in other space like nuclear waste…

Lets just worry about getting a democratic system and get a fresh start.

Something to think about. How clever is Gyanendra ? Does he have some sorta poltical insight? Rumours after the massacre of Raja Birendra potrayed him as a ‘political’ leader unlike his brother throwing away booze and ‘kalo padartha’ parties. Could he be any chance an intelligent person who knows what he is doing ? Does he really understand the current situation ? Does he somehow feel that the Feb 1 takeover would help Nepal and Nepalis ? Maybe he did. Wasn’t he getting all the benefiets even though politcal parties were in power ? He was still a Raja. Girija used to be visually shaken during ‘darshan bhets’ and Deuba’s quivering lips used to remind that he had overdosed on his Prozac (once again).

So people, I don’t understand Raja G. Yes he shows a lot of symptoms of being a Psykopath, he has difficulties in trusting people even though they are closed to him. Thapas, Chands, and some other bhardars had actually managed to utter few words regarding this. He is known to listen to everyone but at the end makes his own decisions. So what is he thinking ? Or he is just being a pawn, protected by what is being happening in the country. Maybe he is also being used who knows.

According to his psykological pattern, this man will never give up. He is not Saddam Hussein. Hussein lived in a dillusion, always far away from a reality. But I guess Raja G is more clever than that Arab. Let us wait until he opens that letter from Hindustan.

    ###############################
Untill few months back, there used to be a stalemate
between the King and the Maoists. The Maoists have
taken over many places in Nepal, but their revolution
is not successful until they take over the capital.
They could not possibly take over the capital because
of the Army. The Army is under the kings control and
it is impossible for the Maoists to fight the Kings
    Army in the capital.

    SCENE IN THE CAPITAL:
The democratic parties have a lot of supporters and
say in the capital BUT they are not strong enough to
overthrow the King.THE MAOIST STRATEGY:Using the
Democratic Parties as a pawn in thier greater scheme
of things, the Maoist incite the Democratic Parties to
call strikes and large processions, whereby they
infiltrate the crowds and force the Kings govt. to
attack the public.THE GENERAL CONSENSUS:The general
public believes that the King is corrupt and not a
good ruler. So they only need some inciting before
they go out in the streets. Once the general onsensus
is now to get rid of the King who has unjustly killed
off peaceful demonstrators and innocent people.
    THE AFTERMATH:
The wrath of the crowd in Kathmandu Valley is enough
to overthrow the king. The king gets thrown
out/killed. The Democratic Parties celebrate for a
short time before they start feeling the pressure
of the Maoists from all sides of the capital.Without
the Army being controlled by one point of reference,
noone can stop the Maoists from taking control of the
    capital.
    THE STRATEGY IS WORKING:
What we need to decide right now is do we want the
Maoist to rule us or the King? The democratic party
are just wishful thinkers who wish for a utopia but
will fail miserably as soon as their fight is over.

    WE THE COMMONERS:
We need to see beyond the current situation in Nepal
and decide for ourself if Maoists Rule is what we
want. If that is the case, we need to go ahead and
support the Democratic Party in the street to topple
the King. As soon as the King is toppled, these
Democratic Parties will be swatted off like flies by
    the Maoist guns.

Although democracy is something to die for, the
consequent Maoist rule would be such an unfortunate
irony for the deaths of thousands who are seeking
    democracy.

Dear all, look current development & ups ‘n down.

    INDIAN envoy Karan Singh package to King;
Next stop, constituent assembly + Symbolic Monarch= Like Thailand or Sweden King OR Go to Exile we can’t do any thing for you.

    By Hindu

The unambiguous message India’s special envoy, Karan Singh, must convey to King Gyanendra in Kathmandu is this: “Your time is up. Either step back and allow the political parties to lead the country towards a constituent assembly, which might yet salvage a ceremonial role for the monarchy. Or be swept away by the rising tide of public protest.” Such a message will be factually accurate, morally incontrovertible, and politically sound. The mass upsurge against the autocratic and increasingly hated monarchy will soon enter its third week. Every day brings with it an ever-greater sense of popular determination to see the struggle for democracy through to the end. The partnership between the seven-party alliance (SPA) and the Nepalese Maoists has held firm. The security forces seem in no mood to precipitate matters by opening fire on peaceful civilians. Ominously for the King, the one country that tried to block political unity between the SPA and the Maoists appears to have bowed to reality; the United States ambassador in Kathmandu, James Moriarty, has now begun to invoke images of an ignominious Saigon-type evacuation for Gyanendra. New Delhi is no longer firmly wedded to the `two-pillar’ theory that has underpinned its Nepal policy for nearly two decades; it now appears ready to endorse whatever arrangement emerges from a democratically elected constituent assembly.
