There is no Buddha Boy meditating under the Peepal Tree. Searching efforts have begun as Nepalis and interested people around the world question how this happened and where the 16-year-old Ram Bahadur Bomjam might have gone.

Look Ma, there is no Buddha Boy. This is the first time in teh last 10 months that a scene like this could be seen under the peepal tree. Otherwise, there would be a boy apparently deeply meditating (see the photo below). He left the venue early Saturday night and hasn’t been seen in the area since then.

Posters have been circulated in Nepal and people are already wearing lockets with photos of Ram Bahadur Bamjom. Ram, famous as the Buddha Boy or the Little Buddha or the Meditating Boy stayed there meditating for about 10 months “without eating”.

In search of the Buddha Boy.. Members of Armed Police Force patrol the area looking for Ram Bahadur Bamjom after the committee looking after the Buddha Boy requested the police to search the boy. This is the first time police have arrived in this area after the 16-year-old boy started meditating under the peepal tree. The Bara District Administration Office has ordered the seal of different exit points and alerted the police to prevent anyone from abducting the boy and taking him away from the area.
Ram Bahadur Bamjom’s mother sleeps in front of the Peepal Tree under which her famous son used to meditate. She is eagerly waiting for the safe and sound return of the Little Buddha. She said that she is not feeling hungry after hearing the news. She appears to be tired as she hasn’t eaten anything for last two days.

8. I vow that as long as there is a single hungry ghost who has not accomplished Buddhahood, I too will not attain the right enlightenment.
9. I vow that as long as there is a single hell-dweller who has not accomplished Buddhahood, I too will not attain the right enlightenment.
10. I vow that as long as there is a single god, immortal, human, asura, air-bound or water-bound creature, animate or inanimate object, or a single dragon, beast, ghost, spirit, or the like of the spiritual realm that has taken refuge with me and has not accomplished Buddhahood, I too will not attain the right enlightenment.
11. I vow to fully dedicate all blessings and bliss which I myself ought to receive and enjoy to all living beings of the Dharma Realm.
12. I vow to fully take upon myself all sufferings and hardships of all living beings in the Dharma Realm.
13. I vow to manifest innumerable bodies as a means to gain access into the minds of living beings throughout the universe who do not believe in the Buddha-dharma, causing them to correct their faults and tend toward wholesomeness, repent of their errors and start anew, take refuge in the Triple Jewel, and ultimately accomplish Buddhahood.
14. I vow that all living beings who see my face or even hear my name will fix their thoughts on Bodhi and quickly accomplish the Buddha Way.
15. I vow to respectfully observe the Buddha’s instructions and cultivate the practice of eating only one meal per day.
16. I vow to enlighten all sentient beings, universally responding to the multitude of differing potentials.
17. I vow to obtain the five eyes, six spiritual powers, and the freedom of being able to fly in this very life.

religious myths and fake stories like this blind the people minds and pure religious meditations.nature has created beautiful relation of man and woman to produce generations on this earth. nature has given periods to every woman to produce babies.without periods its impossible to give birth to baby than why woman or girl is treated impure when she has periods.???periods purify the body and soul of woman and give her new ideas and zeal towards life.for these false religious myths in budhism i ddont like to visit nepal or asia.people minds are getting rotten there with fake religious propagandas.always adopt middle way ..bidha tell this. be moderate in your life than why these false extremes ideas that woman is impure during periodsrotten the minds of people???they forget that they are born from these cycle of periods too…..

I have a couple of comments: first, the Buddha or anyone who attained Nirvana (elightenment) have broken the cycle of rebirth/reincarnation and death, and never come back to any form of life (sufferings). This is because they all have rooted out the cause of sufferings in the process of transmigration, simply as removing the effect by removing the cause.
Secondly, I looked at his picutures of meditation boy under the pipal tree where he is leaning against the tree on meditation. That is not the right posture. it seems he is resting/sleeping there. The right meditation posture is that you keep your back bone (spinal code) upright not leaning against anything in order keep you mindfull as meditation is all about mindfulness where meditator sees the rise and fall of all Dharmas.
Finally, the Buddha is born in a world where there is no word of Buddha (Buddha Dharma), so I do not see a need of the same message when it is already in this world. The only thing that lacks in our sociely is practice of this great teachings where everyone has the potential to achieve Nirvana/enlightenment.
So, let’s practice those great Dharmas that has been accessible to everyone in this universe for the last 2500+ yearsis irrespective of your faith or other differences and make this world a pleasant place for all beings, rather than blindly acting on that teen boy.

LETS leave the talk of religion. God is one. God is just being worshipped in different forms by different people of the world. If u think God existed, its always in your heart. Have faith on God rather than critisising eachother on Religions. Believe in ur self first. No more debates. World does not like debates where it leads to bloodshedding. Few years back I have heard before that Buddha Sakyamuni has said that world is changing and he is very sad to see that. And it may beyond his control after thousands years of buddha teaching. All is teaching may be destroy. And he did said that a new buddha will be born into this world to save us from being evil as well as to enlighten us to a buddhist path.

The next Buddha will be Mateiya Buddha and we all hope that He will bring justice and peace to the world. If the little buddha was real. Therefore, to rescue all sentient beings, I have to be Buddha-mind, and emerge from my underground cave to do vajra meditation. To do this I have to realize the right path and knowledge, so do not disturb my practice. My practice detaches me from my body, my soul and this existence. In this situation there will be 72 goddess Kalis. Different gods will be present, along with the sounds of thunder and of “tangur”, and all the celestial gods and goddesses will be doing puja (worship). So until I have sent a message, do not come here, and please explain this to others. Spread spiritual knowledge and spiritual messages throughout the world. Spread the message of world peace to all. Seek a righteous path and wisdom will be yours.
