Eye on Maoist: Maoist cadres have cut off water pipes here at Dhukure of Angna VDC-5, Panchthar district, as punishment to the villagers for not supporting their party in the constituent assembly election. Chandra Dahal, secretary of the consumers committee, said local Maoist cadres blocked the water supply at four different places and affixed party flags there. Seventy households in the village have been using water from the pipes for the last three years.
Locals claimed that the water supply has been obstructed under the leadership of local Maoist cadres Rangalal and Nir Bahadur Dahal. The villagers lodged a complaint at the district police office demanding stringent action against the guilty and speedy regularization of the water supply. In a bid to sort out the problem, an all party meeting was held at district headquarters on Thursday (24 April). “During the meeting the Maoist district leadership apologized over the incident and assured it would take action against the guilty,” said Surendra Dahal, a local.

Maoist high command will never take action against such cadre because its how they are built.
They should not be given leadership of the government because just imagine what they will do if they are given the chance ot lead the government. they will start kicking anyone who does not vote for them. They are real bastards. We need to have at least one dozen Gaur incidents to tame these thugs
We WILL have to live with them for AT LEAST two years. By the sounds of Prachanda, they are planning to stay in for a few decades…
This is how maoist will act even though they are in government…so we can know now how they won the election…gimme one vote or one son….cos if we loose we gonna go to the jungle again.,….lmao…
Maoist have never seen the future, they have seen the past and they think future is the projection of the past. It is not true. They should understand it now. Future is not about dollars, or high tech functionality. They need to understand that most Nepali people have left the country to go to Middle east or malaysia and have seen the societies there, so they have high expectations – according to those imagery – Maoist Rolpa Rukum thinking will not be able to satisfy them. If Maoist failed to punish these rascals – in their so called people’s way!!
No wonder they didn’t vote Maoist.
That is why they should not lead the government. They are still terrorizing us.
Maoists are enitled to do that. People have voted in their favor, that means peaple has accepted their tactics and way of doind day to da business ie; intimidation, threat,thrash,abduction,extortion even killing. People were aware of all these facts and yet maoists got most number of votes. So, these complains are ‘illegitimate’ and ‘undemocratic’.
This election has approved all the misgivings and mistreatments of maoists, all their past deeds has been given a clean cheat. People should expect some more of these and try to live with it as they have VOTED them to do that!!

I am surprised that they did not cut their throats and only cut the pipes. The Maoists are now here for the long haul. They cannot be wished away as some suggest. They are now a reality.We have to now learn to live in the real world! There is now no one else to blame – but ourselves! We love the red colour – we now have it. Blood is also red, so is our national flag!

These kinds of Mao’s behaviors must be stopped. They must learn what democracy means to all and they have no right either to impose their ideology nor people are compelled to do everything that mao wants.
These kinds of events must be condemned by all and must be brought before Human Rights Commission to take appropriate actions on the matters.

The Maoists are criminalizing their nature in very part of the country with threats to the people. The way they are reacting people is very depressed in nature and somehow in coming years, they will face the same problem as the NC & CPN (UML) are now having the tremendous loss in eletion. We should not wait more than 2 or 3 years.

everyone knows abt maiti nepal !!Maiti Nepal who has been a great help and support to the homeless and helpless ppl.people who are in great despair!!!!Esp the womens!!who were considered weak and useless!!there was this women who was trafficked by a man frm the moist group!!and was almost sold to a brothel in India..but with the help of maiti Nepal she was rescued!!After several days the same man was trafficking some other girl!!but fortunately the women recognized the man and the maiti Nepal team caught the man!!!turns out the man was frm theYCL …And the very next day there was the YCL ppl outside maiti Nepal threatening them to leave the man!!tyo pakhe haru le maiti nepal ko sisa haru futhaera!!amama kasto babal kanda garya!!but this thing the media le baneko chaina!!i guess it’s common becoz these cases often take place!!!!!!!
