Any idea who is Shekhar Gurung? I am sure you do know him. He came to limelight when Gyanendra’s autocracy was in climax. Shekhar Gurung was appointed the Zonal administrator, a post created by the royal regime to strengthen the autocratic hold in the state of affairs, for Bagmati Zone. With the restoration of democracy in April, the likes of Shekhar Gurung went on hiding from public eyes. Not anymore. The agents of regression have made a comeback. Thanks to the pro-democratic, pro-republican Janajatis who provided him a forum today by organizing Nepal Banda, the general strike.
“I was coming to office this afternoon,” said Hari Bahadur Thapa, chief reporter at Kantipur daily. “Some people stopped me near Kupandole and one of them asked for my [press] identity card. I was shocked to see that the person who was demanding my identity was no other than Shekhar Gurung.” Shekhar Gurung inspected Thapa’s ID and told, “Ok, You are from the press. Go.”
I always thought royalists had infiltrated into the agitation in Terai and other parts,” Thapa said. “Today’s incident was yet another solid proof about the royalist involvement in destabilizing the democratic government. This is also a matter of shame for the organizers of today’s Banda that people like Shaker Gurung were openly active in the name of Janajati demands.”
Banda Update: Normal life across nation has been affected today due to Nepal Banda (shutdown) called by the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NFIN) to pressurise the government to fulfill its 24-point demands. The bandh was organised demanding ethnic autonomy, federal system, linguistic freedom, proportional representation in the constituent assembly and guarantee of self determination, among others. NFIN, which held talks with the government on 26 Feb, refused to withdraw the bandh despite government requests. NFIN is scheduled to hold the second round of talks on Friday (2 March). (more here)
Developments of the Day:
Bhattarai on Monarchy: Kishna Prasad Bhattarai, a former Prime Minister and former Nepali Congress leader, arises from tumb (many had though that he wasn’t in this world anymore) to defend the ‘powerless monarchy’ in Nepal. We haven’t forgotten that panwalla Bhattarai used to defend the 1990 constitution until recently saying that the statue formulated by his government 17 years ago was “best in the world and there is no need to change a line in it.” Now he thinks going for republic will not be a good idea for the country. Bhattarai, who had returned from pilgrimage to Benaras, India, made those remarks talking to journalists in Bhairahawa this afternoon.
Koirala Health: “Has [Prime Minister] Girija [Prasad Koirala] died?” SMS with these words have been circulating among mobile users in Kathmandu since yesterday and people were tuning in to radios to be sure about the PM’s health situation. We heard that a foreign ambassador contacted to a foreign news agency’s Kathmandu office regarding the news compelling the reporters to make a call to family members of Koirala. “He is absolutely fine now and has shown a lot of signals of improvement,” the family source told a reporter. Then there was one minister who went on public to tell the public latest about Koirala. “I have just now met with him and he appeared fine,” Ramesh Lekhak was heard saying that in Radio Nepal today.
Prime Minister Concerned: Koirala is okay and he is concerned about Maoist arms, says a report. The Prime Minister, during his discussion with the government talks team with the Maoists, today expressed concern over the vast differences between the number of Maoist combatants and the arms registered. Koirala directed the team to make arrangements to declare the arms of the Maoists not registered with the UN as illegal. The UN had registered 30,852 Maoist PLA members and 3,428 arms.

ITS SAD TO READ THAT NEPAL IS GETTING WORSE EVERYDAY. I think we should focus on solution now…rather than playing in the dirt.
WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH NOW, I THINK THE EIGHT PARTY LEADERS SHOULD CHANGE THEIR LEADER NOW AND GIVE WAY TO K P BHATTARAI TO LEAD THE GOVERNMENT. HE HAD BEEN ABLE TO PEACEFULLY HOLD THE ELECTION AFTER LAST JANA ANDOLAN WITHOUT ANY MAJOR INCIDENT, HE IS DEFINITELY THE ONE WHO CAN DO IT NOW.
WAGLE SUPPORTS NEPALI CONGRESS, AND HIS LEADER IS G P KOIRALA, WHO SUPPORTS CEREMONIAL KING, SO WHY THE HECK IS HE HAVING ULCERS WHEN K P BHATTARAI SAID HE WANTS POWERLESS KING.
WASNT IT KANTIPUR PUBLICATION WHO TWISTED EVERYTHING THAT K P BHATTARAI SAID WHEN HE WAS ELECTED AS PRIME MINISTER IN THE LAST ELECTION??? K P BHATTARAI WAS FORCED TO RESING BASED ON PROGANDA OF KOIRALA AND KANTIPUR PUBLICATIONS ON ISSUE OF HIS HEALTH. WELL HOW WELL IS THIS GIRIJA PRASAD NOW, SHOULDNT HE BE RESIGNING. SHOULDNT WAGLE AND HIS CORPORATE BOSSES AT KANTIPUR BE WRITING ABOUT THE HEALTH OF GIRIJA KOIRALA.
IF ONLY HAWALDARE GIRIJA AND HIS CHAMCHAGIRI NEPALI CONGRESS PARTY (UNDEMOCRATIC) HAD HALF THE LEVEL OF DIPLOMACY THAT K P BHATTARAI HAD THEN WE WOULD NOT BE FACING SUCH A HELLISH SITUTION.
i studied in tu, kirtipur where shekhar grg was proctor, and then principal. he was ghusyaha no. 1.
and it turned out that he is darbariya kutta too.
but the fact that he is also gurung, so-called indigenous ethnic community, so he is venerable…

Political parties should come to their senses now, and remain united rather than quarreling for the sake of benefit and popularity.
If political parties dont become united and if political parties continue to put their corrupt leaders as they have done till now, then the country will definitely see a disaster, and a coup (sponsored by ……..) . The current leaders in the Nepalese government i.e. Ministers and Corrupt Member of Parliaments will be first sufferer, as whosoever comes to power will have to punish the corrupt leaders for the sake of their popularity.
I think the parties should keep their corrupt leaders aside, at least till the time the country becomes stable. Sujata Koirala, Sushil Koirala, Khum Bahadur Khadka , Chiranjibi Wagle, Govinda Raj Joshi, Gopal Man Shrestha should be set aside for the time being.
Will seven party and their activists put the country as well as their party in problem just for the sake of few of their corrupt leaders????
KP Bhattarai did not play any significant role in April movement. He should not become prime minister. The old man has retired already. Girijai thik cha. Only he has the guts to stand against Maoists. Sher Bahadur is still confused. Btw where is he these days ? We only hear of Prachanda. Where are other leaders ? Makune ko kurai nagaraun. Even the street dogs make fun of him. aru ko cha ra khai ? SBT thikai thiyo, but are they even in SPA. Looks like Prachanda and Baburam or Sonia Gandhi will take over…only a matter of time.
There are still some chamchas of Girija like Shekar Mayabi who are ready to ruin this country.
Get out of your room and see the situation of the country. Girija is busy making business deals under the watchful eye of Sujata while Sher Bahadur Deuba is going back to the people travelling to remote areas of Nepal.
Girija Prasad Koirala is now only fit to be given as a Case History of multiple diseases for Medical Students.
The so called deputy PM i.e. K P Oli is busy collecting his bhattas whereas Amik Sherchan is busy in learning how to wear a national dress (till last time, he managed to wear inner waist coat, I am sure he will manage to wear a full national dress by the end of his tenure).
Girija has not been able to hold any form of talks either with Maoists or with any of the rebels. He is a complete failure when it comes to diplomacy, he just knows how to harvest chamchas (yes-mans).
Only Sher Bahadur Deuba and Madhav Kumar Nepal are observed in summit talks with Maoists, and talks become indecisive because of absence of the PM.
Well, do you think that Nepal even has a PM or head of government today? Should the decisions of PM always be left to Sitaula and Sushil Koirala.
I think we need to think a bit carefully to change the scenario of the country.
The first thing that is needed is Unity among parties, the next thing that is needed is handing of power to someone who can handle the situation.
Krishna Prasad Bhattarai or Sher Bahadur Deuba seems to be the best option for Premiership with people like Pradeep Giri as Deputy Prime Minister.
K P Bhattarai had the same role in Jana-Andolan as Girija Prasad had i.e. as the leading leader of Seven Political Party.
Girija Prasad was leader of only one party i.e Nepali Congress (Koriala) but K P Bhattarai was leader of two parties in coalition i.e. Nepali Congress (Democratic) and Nepali Congress (Koirala).
Well he is still leader of both congress parties, so wouldnt it be a benefit to have a leader who has both congress parties as followers?
If Koirala-Congressis didnt like K P Bhattarai, then they should have the courage to move the party ahead without clinginig on to K P Bhattarai’s Aunla for support.
oye “name required”, I don’t have to be a chamcha of Girija to ruin this country. Simply because someone has an opinion you cannot just accuse them of doing something. bujhis ? As for your K.P. Bhattarai I still remember that the last time he was the PM, two people had to hold his arms to help him move from one place to another. Deuba may be an option, tara khai ?? I doubt if Deuba will be able to maintain the multi party alliance.
If wht Wagle claims abt this Gurung dude is true then yes its truly sick. Cant understand how such power hungry crooks are chosen to lead. But really if you look at it the other way, its pretty much the same how these crook politicians like Girija (Wagle’s master), Makune, Deuba etc etc keep getting elected again and again. These people have a way to get around and general public are nothin but bheda bakhra … u know what I mean …
But careful Wagle, dont try to muffle/discredit our agitation just coz of this one incident. Or else I’m coming for your ass.
“Thanks to the pro-democratic, pro-republican Janajatis who provided him a forum today by organizing Nepal Banda, the general strike” ….. try and avoid rhetorics like this ok.
Politics in Nepal is getting more dynamic each day. Today it was Shekhar Gurung. Now slowly all jatiz are goin’ back to their original enthnicity. In terai andloan last month, all Terai MPs joinlty gave statements. Congress MPs whoz houses were set ablaze were also supporting the terai movement (at least publicly).
Whether an individual be a royalist or of any other party, once their enthnic group gets active they can’t remain aloof from theri group. Terai Movement saw Badri Mandal to UML MP Mahaseth and Sadbhawana Ananda Devi. Another news is that, BP statue in Biratnagar was damaged by non other than Congressi Karyakartaz with slogans like ” Hum banaye saalik humm hi todenge”
So lets not genalize it with Shekhar gurung and Badri Mandal only. I do not agree it was sponsored by Royals. In Last months terai movement also Maoist initially said its a group of criminals then some ppl said its the regressive foreces and it landed up with participation of millions of people. Its obvious that Anti Socail elements and Undemocratic foreces tyr to penetrate and add fuel in this kind of turm oil . If we start generalizing it and connect this bandh with palace only then we are on a wrong track again. Lets be inclusive, respect each community’s thought and make a way out so that there are no further bandhs.
agree with you 100% satya tathya
To all Pahades:
Watch out carefully. Nepal is screwed up already because of Terrorist and Spammers like you. I am sure not all nepalese are terrorist like you. My friends, even though they are pahade, they are extremely nice because they are from good family. Had they been from background like yours, they would also smell rotten like you.
Anyways, try reading some news. All Nepal is closed, and you know, nepal survives by Terai. You will die without food. Your dad prachanda can feed you only bullets, not food.
FKK Pahade, FKK Nepal, JaI Madhesh!!!
I am a BIG ROYALIST.
There are three categories of people in Nepal:
1> Royalist: Educated, learned, wise, and who can foresee the future. The most talented and loyal. They want to work, and dedicated to make the nation prosperous. They are religious, but not extremist.
2> Democratic: People who are corrupted and scared of unemployment if King’s direct rule is imposed. Will even sell their daughter, sister and mother, if they are paid–even a cup of coffee. Highly uneducated, so they chose politics as their career; they wont find jobs.
3> Maoists: Uneducated, illiterate, sheep minded, poor, hungry, and also the terrorists. Forcibly want to create communal riots, entertain in civil war, and DO NOT like to work; they rather want to rob, kill, steal, murder, rape so that they can eat.
I am proud I belong to the FIRST category and I AM A ROYALIST.
Jai Desh! Jai Naresh!
Long live king!!!
King’s one address scares the Shhiit out of the terrorists and Spammers. THIS IS WHAT THE IMAGE OF KING IS. His one address is equivalent to 1000s speeches of these terrorists. 99% of people want democracy. Any data irrelevant to that is the corruption of journalism, and I am sure Nepalese dont even know what statistics is.
They again belong to the 2ns and 3rd kind.
Honestly, How many of you think that Prachu and Babu bhaiya will not be gunned down someday? Will you be surprised? I am sure 100%, no one will be surprised. They know they can die any moment. is there any point in the history, if I misses to read, Maoists and terrorist prevail? The answer is NO. It will not.
They can see their death in mirror. One morning you will wake up, and see–Babu and prachu Bhaiya have been gunned down.
Jai Nepal!!!
shrivastav,,,,,,,,,, u are throwing ur own shit on ur face, congrat u too scared!!!!!!!!!!!
here is another piece of biased news from what was already a very biased site supposedly run by a very biased publication. Earlier, there was royal consiracy in the terai movement, but now even the janajati bandh is instigated by pro-palace forces. And according to people like Wagle, it is all to derail the process of the CA. But can you please care to answer how all of this stops the corrupt fatsos and the terrorists to do the following:
1. Form a government– the country has been without a government for how long now?
2. Stop taking arms to the parliament.
3. Annouce at least the date of the elections.
4. Agree on who is a party and who is not for the CA.
5. Improve law and order situation in Nepal.
6. Appoint ambassadors.
7. Appoint heads of the education instutitions.
8. Stop re-examining the culprits singled out in the Rayamajhi commission and actually start taking action. It seems like we are getting into another round of investigation with that.
9. Get maoists to STOP all of their terrorist activities which are still on-going unabated.
10. Get Situala to take moral responsibility for the 38 deaths in terai– he was in fact the Home minister when all of that happened.
11. Take action against bank defaulters.
12. Come out and explain to the people what their mandates are for CA and even explain the CA is all about.
Please, WAgle and gang, can you please tell me how what you are calling the “royal conspiracy” is stopping the terrorists and the corrupts fatsos from doing any or all of the above. Please don’t try to divert people’s attentions from the real issues– no matter how hard you try, you cannot hide the uselessless of these terro-corrupt friends of yours.
Royalist: Educated, learned, wise, and who can foresee the future. The most talented and loyal. They want to work, and dedicated to make the nation prosperous. They are religious, but not extremist.
Royalists: somewhat educated but stupid, forsee the future that their high ride is at the end of the road, not talented but loyal to the master, and dedicated to make more money for themselves by sucking ordinary people and foreign aids. They are religious to the extent to purify their everydays sins and extremists.
Is comment moderation policy changed or it’s just that those people have not yet arrived to the blog?
How come today’s discussion is not infiltrated by racists, bad-word shops?
Thanks Wagle dai.
Shree Shrestha, well said!!
How stupid is it to say royalists are educated, when they are “loyal to the bad master”, can’t even estimate their own future let alone the future of nation. I don’t think taking/buying a certificate is only bottom line to be called educated. And yes even Ravan was said to be very educated.
Royalists seem to be making the saying true “????? ???? ?????? ???????”
i beleive a republican nepal will provide people of different ethnic origins right to self rule and right to whether remain in Nepal or gain independence. we will also not need to be silent but have rights to protest if anyone is against our origins. we will also be able to protect our relgion, culure, language, etc. against Christian missionaries trying to convert innocent poor nepalese and teach hatred against other religons in nepal and indian trying to take over our land. SSb entered our terrtiory last week twice and arrested our people violating our sovereignity. we need to protect our nation by creating auotnomous region like Kirat autonomous region, Madhesh autonomous region, Newar autonomous region, Magar autonomous region, Sherpa autonomous region, Khas autonomous region, Chepang autonomous, Tharu, etc. if khas are not given autonomous region in Humla-Jumla by state, we will als launch Bandas and stikes. we will anythiing for autonomous region.
Long live Khas-autonomous movement
Khas Mukti Samaj

Jai Nepal
And here goes Wagle weaving his conspiracy theories. How shamelessly he tires to discredit the Janjati movement because some friend of his told him that he saw a former royalist in the ranks in some place in Kathmandu. So lets say for a sake of argument Gurung had his priorities this way: Be loyal to his community and if not then rather be a royalist than to support a Bahunism party of Nepal. A liberal person like me has a hard time deciding which is worse…royals or the bahun dominated party, I cannot imagine how it must have been for people like Gurung when their voices were completely silenced by people like Koiralas, Sitaulas, Nepals etc…all in the name of democracy. But of course Wagle you wouldn’t know this would you?
Why pick on one individual like Shekhar Gurung , Wagleji? Even your idol Girija is a royalist if you look at it from a certain angle.
Idiots, it is exactly the same bhusya morons โ Ironic and Kirat, who always barked and painted a โdemocraticโ face on corrupt-to-the-core SPA and homicidal thugs called Maoists. Now, these two-tongued slithering serpents spew their venom on members of those same groups with whom their mothers once shared the bed. Who knows what their sons did while SPAM orgy bent their cheli-betis all out of shape.
So, this thug who turns out to be a Gurung โ member of a supposed Janjati clan – all of a sudden finds a break post-G cabinet and starts hitting the pavement demanding rights for his blood brothers? And ordinary Nepalis are to buy into the crap that this self-styled opportunist thug actually has grievances against the system. Bitch ass Ironic, this Gurung, a JANJATI, WAS part of the system that facilitated silencing in the first place. And now, all of a sudden, this thug has an epiphany to carry out altruistic deeds? Idiots, cannot even weave an ethnic propaganda correctly; retards let out all the weaknesses of an argument for people to see openly. Stop eating dhedo all the time; you are developing think skin around your skull by day.
You fuktards, your movement is a farce. Like fake Maoists, you attempt to replicate the demands for an autonomous region without any substance. If 99% percent of your ethnic population is uneducated and illiterate, does it fukking matter to them whether they live in an autonomous region or a centrally governed one? No! They could be ploughing a field for all I care, and shit wouldnโt matter whether whose fields were in India or Nepal as long as your ideological foot-soldiers had dhedos for supper or some corn bread for lunch.
Bhusyas, listen! What percentage of your Janjati population understands the misrepresentation of an autonomous region perpetuated by half-assed Janjati/Madhisey intellectuals and activists? Not many, heck not even enough to get a petition that can be proposed as a bill in the HOR. Idiots! Just as the top 1% of Maoist thugs who exploited the other 99% of undereducated rural population โ promising them of a communist utopia, these Madhisey, Janjati leaders and pretend-activists are of the same bunch as the SPAM. All are in the game for one and one thing only: loot the heck out of Nepal while they can, and looters like Ironic and Kirat are in the forefront of this m(ASS) movement.
Even Makune sent UML to King’s cabinet. Look just because some were in the royal cabinet does not mean that they are not madhesis or janjatis and can not stand up for their rights. Open your eyes man. If mandal was in the royal cabinet, he is no longer a madhesi and can not fight for their rights. I think this wagle was an idiot, is an idiot and always remain so.
So now you are claiming that this janjati group are basically royalists bacause they were “infiltrated”. Maybe this Shekhar Gurung was something or the other in the royal regime, but let’s not forget he is a janjati first and foremost. You people forget that hard line comminists like RK Mainali were also included in the royal cabinet, plus others who were not politically inclined in any way. Not too long ago, Prachanda wanted to strike a deal with the palace against the democratic parties as well. This is politics and here it is never clear. Republic is the buzz word of the day, and for all the wrong reasons and bandwagonners like UWB are weak willed enough to just go with the flow. Maybe Mr. Gurung will vote to keep a ceremonial monarchy, so does GPK have the same thought. Also, let’s not forget this whole nation is infiltrated by maoist murderers, they are even sitting in parliament, so why such a big headline for a Shekhar Gurung who now seems to be fighting for the his people’s cause. Or does UWB have a problem with that? If you do get over your tunnel vision.
UWB has chosen the easy way of going with the mob flow and is infact an agent for division in this country. Let’s not say this is the blue line and that is the red and one side cannot cross over to the other or cannot merge as one. It’s simple the SPAM promised us a CA election where everyhting will be decided after the people have cast their most democratic right – the vote, after that whatever the result everyone should accept it. Talking of changing the system before the people are allowed to choose is undemocratic to say the least and will definitely lead to more turmoil not less.
Rather than one’s being Royalist, his moves should be taken into account.
“How democratic s/he is? “
It’s quite holarious really this picking on common people and labelling them, when it has been agreed that the CA will decide in one shot the King’s position. Which means if the republic vote wins there will be noone to label “royalist” by UWB or at least the label would not mean much, however, I wonder how we will deal with these maoist murderers, do we get to vote and vote them out for good as well in the next elections if they do not act democratically. Or more simple, can we vote atleast Prachanda the butcher out of politics for good?
freeyoursenses – you are really sick man. do you even realise wht you’re saying? you write well so I presume you are educated but who are you/wht are you. Have some shame or dignity you idiot. You rambling here is not going to change anything. It’ll only make convictions of Janjatis, Madhesis stronger. Actually I shudnt even be responding to ur worthless comment. get a life man. dont be such a loser.
Wagle – you just dont cease to amaze me. How the hell did you get into this profession anyway.
Kirat/Ironic – I agree 100% to your comments
Ashutosh Shrivastav:
“Royalist: Educated, learned, wise, and who can foresee the future.”
I guess Mr. Gyanendra Shah, Kamal Thapa, Tulsi Giri, Bharat Shimba, Paras Shah don’t fit this category uh?
Actually Patriot its quiet easy. Just sgin up at WordPress.
Partiot without a country.
>>do you even realise wht youโre saying? you write well so I presume you are educated but who are you/wht are you.
Why, because I say the truth that other 95% of Nepalis are afraid to utter because of ethnic backlash? Is MADHISEY a derogetory term? If so, BAHUNS, which in itself is a derogatory of Brahmins, and ANY other particular slander geared towards ANY ethnicity should be considered derogatory also. If Madhiseys and Janjatis can rally their ’cause’ for an autonomous region, what prevents the supposed Brahmin-Chettri-Thakuri nexus ala Khas to rally for their autonomy which, by percentage of Khas population should occupy the largest land mass of Nepal. Bring on
Moron, if you want a fukking democratic system, learn to take criticisms speared towards YOU. Are YOU a Janjanti, or a Madhisey? In your Janjati or madhisey tradition of political equality, do you only allow your kind to say criticize others or would you allow others to criticize your own shortcomings as well?
Go get a lesson on free speech first if you want a freaking democratic farce!
there are royalists in protests. but they are not there demanding the king come back to power. they are demanding for ethnic rights. is it mutually exclusive? can one not be a supporter of the king and still think nepali society (and kantipur publication) is racist?
not to say i support the king.. but just because one does not mean he cannot demand ethnic rights.
actually freeyoursenses – I might be wrong – but Bhun isn’t a derogrtory as far as I am concerned. maheshi as a word isn’t derogetory either but its used in a demeaning way.
I think the time has already come to judge Mr. Sitaula and also his gang…Because of his presence..
1. people are getting effected in their daily survivings
2. country is loosing 15 crores per day in customs
3. human rights are violating although it is the major concerned of today
4. price rocketing in local markets
5. people are suffering to go from one place to another
6. people are loosing their jobs and businesses
7. more detoirating the relations among the communities and their culture etc..etc..
There are two things left to prooved now,
1.Either concerned should prove that all those madhesi and janajati who are participating in the movement are under the leadership of royalist and they should be consider as royalist
2. or they should be consider as genuine people demanding their rights where royalist support is there.
Otherwise blaming game will be the waste of time which at the end going to effect badly to the SPAM’s rule.
Here’s a farce if you’ve ever seen one. No maoist has ever faced the courts till date and a big deal is made for an army officer. Is justice to be dealt out only for the army or should this gutless court start carching the maoists as well, recent murders in the Terai could be a good start.
A major of the Nepali Army, who was summoned by a Supreme Court-appointed panel investigating a case of four missing persons, has been defying the summons.
Newspaper reports quoted an official of the panel headed by Appellate Court judge Lokendra Mallik as saying that major Purushottam Bikram KC refused to be present before the commission despite repeated requests from the panel.
The panel formed by the Supreme Court order had written to the Defense Ministry asking it to direct the major, who is the head of the No 1 Bahini of Field Gulm in Thankot barracks, to give his statement in the case.
The panel is probing how and under what circumstances four Maoist cadres Bipin Bhandari, Rajendra Dhakal, Dil Bahadur Rai and Chakra Bahadur Katuwal went missing.
For people like Patriot and Kirat, cursing other communities with demeaning names, accusing of all kinds of discriminatory practices comes quick and easy. For these people, it is their birth right because they have conception that they are discriminated ‘janjatis’. And these are the same people who sit in Kathmandu, enjoy all the priviledges and shed tears that they are discriminated. These are Pajero driving ‘janjati’ activists. They do not have time or urge to open up schools in remote places for educating and imparting skills to their ‘discriminated’ population. They do not have time and money to initiate any development activities in the place they claim to represent. These are very people who go and screw their own people for their personal aggrandizement.
It is difficult to understand who have stopped ‘discriminated’ janjatis from acquiring education, fighting elections, forming political parties, going abroad, or compete for job?
It is not freeyoursenses who is sick, it is people like Patriot, Kirat/Ironic who are sick. These are power hungry morons who are in grab of democrats, liberals.
On Wednesday, Janaastha, regarded to be close to the palace published a poem by columnist Suresh. The poem is an irony to Prachanda, who in response to the public concerns regarding vast differences between arms and armies said rivers washed away many of their arms during the period of war:
Kukhuri kan… (cock crowing in early morning)
Let me get hot bullet
Where is the hot bullet?
The Maoists have taken
Where are the Maoists?
They entered towns
Where the towns?
The wastes cover them
Where are the wastes?
Spilled all over the streets in capital
Where are the streets?
The demonstrations covered them
Where the demonstrations?
The Maoists combatants chased them
Where are the combatants?
They went in search of their arms
Where are the arms?
The rivers washed them away
Where are the rivers?
They have dried

Wagle and his gang will forever see conspiracy and infiltration for they do not have conviction of their deeds or actions. Need I say more. Nepal is being torn apart at the seam by righteouness of Kantipur and Wagle kind- the anger we as Nepali as one should be directed to these people not against each other. They have brought the divisiveness amongst us- its unpardonable.
I feel shamed to hear that all decision are run through Indian Ambassador to be approved- is this how a sovereign country is run? Our history speaks of sacarifices and blood of people who safe guarded nationhood and bestowed it to us but now few elites under a disguise of Maoist (Violent)and Reporter (snake in the grass) are selling it down the bridge- is this is treachey of worst kind. They have even inflamed secterian divide which spells disintegration of a nation but they do it to prove themselves as righteous. My ass.
This is the time where we as one Nepal need to mend fences, erase the divide amongst us, and secure a bright future based upon equality and equal opportunity. Let is not give chance to maggots like Wagle and his kind to act elitist as if they can write our destiny and future. Lets all unite to show there place or put them in place before we lose our Nepal forever.
For people like freeyoursenses – theres a difference between criticism and filthy personal attack and if you read your own post you will realise you are indulging in the latter. Sure go ahead who is stopping you frm demanding your own Khas region. But why are you so bothered when we demand ours. We are not indulging in any personal slander but simply demanding our rights. Or is it coz if we Janjatis, Madhesis get our demands your kind will get displaced … the thought of your playground for sucking the country dry being limited hurts doesnt it? So you see where I’m coming from. Besides I have no probs in taking criticisms, rather it seems you have. And yeah … I dont need to take a lesson on free speech, I think you need to – for getting overzealous and making yourself look utterly stupid.
moonflower – lets not get into any discussion on the borgoiese disposition you accuse us of coz frankly you really dont have a case to back your claim, barring maybe a few. You argument is utter crap and believe me if it were not for people like you, our country would be much better today.
Patriot.
Thank you for the contributions of your kind aswell. Yes, let us just cut this country into tiny little pieces. Let us all have a own little paradise. As for the Khas, may be they can request the american government for migration to the US. Yes, let us burn this nation. After all, what has this nation given us, and after all, what have we given to this nation. Who needs this nation if its only the leaders and the kings who are going to get rich. Burn it down i say. And my final question to you patriot,”which part of nepal are you patriot to?”
hahaha bahun poeple r really howling now. they think nepalese r only them n thus everything has to be aacording to them that only favours them, thier culture, thier religions, thier interest. don’t forget people, there r more than 70% of total population in this movements, ie, janjatis, madhesis, dalits. so called minorities r now majorities fighting for thier rights with similar objective, so there is unity. n its not dividing the nation but unifying it spiritually among diverse culture n people. n hear the fact, the most hated people in nepal r bahuns, not because u guys r more educated n cover almost 90% of major gov positions but due to historical, social n other reasons, personal exp, this hatred was passed to me by my grandfather, so just imagine, n do’nt just crap. everyone wants peace, developed n progressive nepal that is fair to everyone by constitution.
Patriot, (14:36:35)
How can I forget that you are the only logical and rational blogger around? How can I forget that only your arguments possess substance and reasoning? That is because you are ‘discriminated’ and ‘oppressed’ janjati. Of course, you are the only blogger who has all the evidences to back your claim. And I would not definitely like to be part of your ‘janjati’ country – Republic of Limbuwan.
At this rate, the best option for Nepal is to kick the king out and divide Nepal into numerious small independent countries of diffrent ethenics. Then everyone will be statisfied.
