Nepal in Transition: Gyanendra Barks From Palace, Tries to Justify 2005 Coup

Tries to justify Feb 1, 2005 takeover, claims he did that as per “people’s aspiration”

A day after he was stoned by the angry people who also chanted slogan demanding his ouster from Nepal, king Gyanendra has issued a statement on the eve of Monday’s Democracy Day [Feb 19] in which he clearly defends his Feb 1, 2005 takeover. Gyanendra who was forced to give up the power after historic popular uprising in April also claims in the statement [embargoed for publication until Feb 20] that he installed autocracy and dismissed democracy in Feb 1, 2005 “as per peoples’ desire.” The current interim constitution, a document of compromise between the former Maoist rebels and pro democracy alliance of Seven Political Parties to end the decade long violent conflict, doesn’t recognize the king. The king as per the constitution has no role whatsoever in the state of affairs of Nepal. In a way, he is in the state of suspension. This dramatic statement from Gyanendra is bound to create obstacles in holding election of constitution assembly. Why he issued a political statement?

Gyanendra says:

It is clear that the prevailing situation compelled us to take the Feb 1, 2005 (Magh 17, 2061) step in accordance with the people’s aspiration to reactivate the elected bodies by maintaining law and order following the dissolution of the House of Representatives at the recommendation of the elected Prime Minister of the day, who was unable to conduct general election within the timeframe stipulated by the Constitution. Subsequent governments, too, were not successful in this task.

Why on earth Gyanendra felt to justify his two-year-old actions that people of Nepal rejected and discarded through a historic uprising?

Gyanendra further says:

We are also morally responsible for any success or failure during the 15 month effort. As our sold wish is that the people should govern themselves through their own elected representatives, it is well known that we reinstated the House of Representatives on April 24, 2006 with the confidence that the nation would forge ahead on the path of national unity and prosperity, while ensuring permanent peace and safeguarding multiparty democracy.

While giving us all the boring lecture on democracy, Gyanendra easily chooses to forget the historic April revolution in which million of people around the country demonstrated against him. It is an open secret that Gyanendra hasn’t yet accepted the restoration of democracy because that he did forcefully.

Beloved countrymen

Today, the 57th National Democracy Day, reminds us of the joint struggle launched by the King and the people, culminating in the successful restoration of the peoples’ rights. On this historic day, we pay homage to our august grandfather His late Majesty King Tribhuvan, the architect of democracy in Nepal, and all the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for this cause.

Nepal’s glorious history is guided by the fact that Monarchy has always abided by the aspirations of the Nepalese people, on whom sovereignty is vested. It is clear that the prevailing situation compelled us to take the Feb 1, 2005 step in accordance with the people’s aspiration to reactivate the elected bodies by maintaining law and order following the dissolution of the House of Representatives at the recommendation of the elected Prime Minister of the day, who was unable to conduct general election within the timeframe stipulated by the Constitution. Subsequent governments, too, were not successful in this task. Various obstacles thwarted our resolve to install elected representative bodies.

In order to consolidate multiparty democracy, elected representative bodies must be installed, taking into consideration, in a mature manner, the grievances, aspirations and sentiments of all the Nepalese to the satisfaction of all. Nepal is a kaleidoscope of diverse peoples- be they indigenous, dalits or those living in villages, cities, terai, hills, or the mountainous regions. It will do well to remember that Nepal’s sovereignty and integrity remains safeguarded only because all have accepted and abided by this reality. The Nepalese people alone are the arbitrators of their own destiny and they wish to build a prosperous Nepal through a meaningful exercise in multiparty democracy. The self-respecting Nepalese people have an unshakable belief that one’s unique identity can be upheld only by respecting one’s history.

While upholding the people’s wish as supreme, may this day inspire all to remain dedicated, through multiparty democracy, to the greater welfare of Nepal and her people by ensuring their concurrence and active participation.

May Lord Pashupatinath bless us all!
Jaya Nepal!

    PRIME MINISTER’S DEMOCRACY DAY MESSAGE

Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has said, “To hold the election to the constituent assembly by mid-June is our common objective and responsibility and the welfare of the entire Nepalis is inherent in its success; only after that would we be able to take Nepal to the desired destination.”

Prime Minister Koirala has said this in a message given on the occasion of the National Democracy Day, today.

“All of us have to fulfill this responsibility bestowed upon us by history with sincerity and commitment by putting to an end the crisis, conflict and the controversies with mutual unity, cooperation and goodwill, and this is the message and inspiration on this historic day.”

Premier Koirala has stated in the message that history has now given the responsibility of maintaining lasting peace, taking the value of the Loktantrik system to the masses and building a new and prosperous Nepal to us all.

The Prime Minister’s message states- “The Nepali people did not get to exercise in an unhindered manner the democratic rights established through their sacrifices; the Nepali people had to once again submit themselves to a long struggle. The Nepali people have again established the truth that actually the people are the source of all powers, no one can stop the people who have risen up in the struggle for securing their rights and their strong resolve and that ultimately the victory is of the people.”

He has noted that the Loktantrik system has been established in Nepal by reaching to a height wherein no one can ever hijack it on any pretext.

“Many of our sons have sacrificed themselves in the long struggle for establishment and re-establishment of democracy in the country,” Prime Minister Koirala stated in the message and recalled the dedication, valour and sacrifice of all the martyrs for the country, people and democracy on this historic day. He has also paid tributes to the martyrs.

He said it is necessary for all of us to reiterate on this historic day that we would fulfill the objectives and the dreams of our patriotic leaders and brave martyrs to take the country towards the light of democracy by always keeping these objectives and dreams at the forefront.

The Prime Minister said, “There are innumerable problems before us today. We have to be aware of and conscious that the plethora of problems of the people and the country can be resolved on the basis of national unity and consensus. This is my appeal to all on this historic day.”

“The revolution of 1951 was a broad revolution of an epoch-making change. The historic day of Fagun 7, 2007 BS which marks the success of that revolution, not only brought about political change in our country but also oriented the country towards building an exploitation-less society by removing the discrimination based on caste, religion, colour, gender, region and class by means of progressive change in every sector including the economic, social, cultural, educational and religious. On this very day, Nepal emerged out of the medieval closet and entered into a new era, and also prepared robust foundation of nationality as well as democracy, “the Prime Minister recalled.

Prime Minister Koirala observed in the message that in reality the main aspect of the 1951 revolution was democracy, but another of its vibrant side was nationality too; therefore, democracy and nationality were brought to light in Nepal on Fagun 7, 2007 B.S.”

  2. I am shocked why Gyanendra gave such a politically motivated statement when people are throwing stones on his car. Is it another step for another military coup so that Nepal can’t hold the CA election? Is Gyanendra that much foolish? I am not exactly sure but I see some conspiracy on this. If Gyanendra wants to do politics, that’s fine, he should first abdicate the crown and join politics. But still hiding behind the high walls of Narayanhitti and throwing the statements outside doesn’t help.

The funniest part of the statement is this sentence:

“May Lord Pashupatinath bless us all!”

He will definitely bless Nepalese people but the Lord will throw many more stones at Gyanendra’s car.

  3. I beleieve that King Gyanendra has all the right to issue this statement. First of all we all should feel ashamed of ourselve for throwing stones on our own King. King Gyanendra is always trying to fulfill the aspiration so fthe people of Nepal and hence the statment is the right message and the right time.

  4. Gyanendra needs to learn to be political astute if he wishes for the Monarchy to be a part of Nepal’s future. I agree that this statement was unecessary given the mood and sentiment in the country regarding the Monarchy. Why he would defend his Feb 1st move I don’t know. He really should keep quiet and let things cool down.
Gyanendra is surrounded by a bunch of lunatics who constantly ill advise him. If the monarchy wishes to have a future it should focus on being a neutral benevolent institution that Nepalese can look to as a sgin of stability. But if he is foolish enough to again meddle in politics he is just digging his own grave.

  5. Bhanu Prasad, I understand your feeling towards monarchy. We all have different reasons and none of them any better as you know. But I hope you realise its wrong to assume that we all feel like you when you wrote “we” in ur post. Please refrain from doing it, else there will be no diversity in opinion.

  6. Bhudai - i like wht u jus wrote, sounded good but a little uncomfortable. Its one thing to hope for an ideal situation and other pragmatic. We have seen enough of K.G. and none other any better. I think monarchy is irrelevant now and theres no coming back, given Maoists & SPA immense propaganda resources. They will never let it happen.

And I think he is better off if he left the country gracefully. Sure, Prachanda, Baburam, Deuba, Makune’s turn will also come (including Girija whos almost there). Just the diff is these people have one more serious opportunity to purge some of their sins, while K.G. has run his course.

I like it better when 1 -ve party gone is good riddance than having him given another chance. Very little chance of turning around, pragmatically speaking …

Democracy is not just about voting. It also means citizens taking political risks and experimenting and learning and moving forward …

  7. Gaurav Dahal,

Pushpa Kamal Dahal will be be very pleased to read what you have posted.

“He will definitely bless Nepalese people but the Lord will throw many more stones at Gyanendra’s car.” …Now that is defintely true if by lord you mean Madhab K. Nepal or your master Prachanda.

Gyanendra has every right to speak for Feb 1 move since the maoist extremist have been speaking against even the foundation of our nation and identity laid by prithivi narayan shah.

  8. You fuckin Morons, Gyanendra has the right to issue the statement. Why do u fuckers always disount gyanendra from politics…u’ve the same autocratic mentality…if u really believe in true fuckin democracy…everyone has the right to share their opinions including Gyanendra…You need to fuckin grow up n learn not to involve ur personal feelings and emotions, thats when you sway from true democracy.

  9. Those who want republic like to throw monarchy through constituent assembly but at the same time expect King to remain quiet, silent just like a consitutional monarch . I think it’s natural for anyone, who is sturggling his best to survive, to use any opportunity available to him to make his case.

In my opinion, there should be a referendum in the consituent assembly ellection asking people directly whether to keep monarchy or go to republic rather than leaving this issue to 8 political parties.

  10. Long live King Gyanendra!
King Gyanendra we all love you.
    Jai Nepal!

  11. As matter of principle, I defend the King’s right to express his views as any other Nepali.

Too much of one sided reporting by Kantipur’s journos is deplorable. This is gutter journalism.. decency in language would be make our society great. So much mud throwing has already rubbished our nation.

  12. Maoists murderers are defending the brutal murder of 14000 Nepali and getting rewarded for that. Yet you complain about King’s defending his actions which facilitated the murderers forming the alliance with the parties which has resulted in some relative peace in the country.

  13. Gyanendra is not just any other Nepali. He is still a ceremonial monarchy and if he is making a televised address to the nation he needs to be careful what he is saying - especially in light of Nepal’s current political situation and the voilitile state of the insitution of monarchy. There was really no need for him to defend his Feb 1st move again. It’s very stupid PR. The problem with Gyanendra is that he is not very smart or educated and he has surrounded himself with dumbasses.

  14. King Gyanendra should be given 100% chance to defend himself. What he did was the only way to bring Nepal to its current situation. During the April revolution he is accused of killing 22 people but who will take responsibility for the killing of 13000 people during maoist people war and who will take responsibility for killing 19 people during tarai upraising. Prachande is consider hero when he ordered to kill 13000 people. I believe media people should point more on prachande’s action rather then keep poking on King Gyanendra. They should put pressure on government and maoist on constitutional election and other important things. They did scrutinize King for his mistake now it is time to scrutinize all the political figure on their past misdeed.

  15. Democracy Day celebration has no meaning at all. On that day 56 years ago in 1951 the power of the state was transferred from Ranas to Shahas. We are in the process of transferring the full sovereignty to the People of Nepal. King Gyanendra has already been sidelined from day to day affairs of the state. So his message is of no importance to us. The day has come to declare our country the People’s Republic of Nepal. New Democracy Day will be the day when we elect our first President.

  16. Main culprit is not King Gyanendra: The Prachade and his so called Prachandepath…

  17. Gyanendra should be taken to visit RARA Lake in a old helicoptor. He should not be directly killed, like hanging or shooting etc.

  18. and ya this Bhudai type of people should be tied with that helicopter, before saying bye bye to it to be submarine.

  19. Both Gyane and Prachanda are DESHMARA

  20. We need to put Both Gyane and Prachanda in the same helicopter and send them to Rara lake so that we can kill them on the same spot. Both of them were working together before. Who killed APF IGP Krishna Mohan shrestha? Answer is: Both Gyane and Prachanda

  21. Both Gyane and Prachanda were involved in killing APF IGP Krishna Mohan shrestha because Krishna Mohan saw prachnada in Nirmal Niwas. That is why they decided to kill Krishna mohan shrestha

  22. Maoists torch house, kidnap family in capital

    BY KOSH RAJ KOIRALA

KATHMANDU, Feb 18 - Hundreds of Maoist cadres on Sunday afternoon burnt down a house and kidnapped three of family members from Jorpati in the capital. The area remained tense until late evening as Maoists cadres affiliated to All Nepal Trade Union Federation (ANTUF) targeted police personnel who reached the incident site with bricks, spears and iron rods.
Police officials, quoting one of the arrested, said some 400 garment industry workers had reached the site and torched the one-storied building belonging to Nani Bahadur Karki at Naya Basti area of Jorpati VDC at about 4 pm Sunday. Irate demonstrators beat up the Karki couple before setting ablaze all the belongings in the house including a motorcycle.

According to police sources, Maoist cadres kidnapped three people including the Karki couple, alleging that they were behind the murder of one Nawa Raj Bajgain some two months ago. Late Bajgain is the relative of Badri Bajgain, central vice-president of ANTUF.

Sources close to the Karki family said they had been living in the house of their kin at New Baneshwor for fear of Maoist assault. They had reached the house at about 3:30 pm this afternoon to take some household goods. Arms-wielding Maoist cadres pounced upon the Karki couple who were about to leave the house on a two-wheeler.

The mob dispersed at about 4:30 pm after a police team led by Bishnu Prasad Parajuli reached the incident site. Unruly agitators had even targeted police personnel with bricks, khukuris and spears. The same group had set the house on fire after the police team returned at about 5 pm. The house was almost destroyed by the time a fire engine reached the site.

Nawa Raj Bajgain, 17, was found dead near his house at Arubari on November 16 last year. Accusing the Karki family of murdering the teenager, the Bajgain family along with ANTUF members and residents of Naya Basti area of Jorpati had staged a series of protests demanding that the truth of the alleged murder be brought out.

Later, the family had filed a murder case at Kathmandu District Court, accusing Yagna Karki, Ranju Karki, Ranjit Karki and Laxmi Karki of involving in the murder. However, the court had released them on simple date some one month ago as there was no evidence to support the charge.

Deceased Bajgain was reportedly in love with a daughter of the abducted Karki. On November 12, the girl’s family members had reportedly beaten up Bajgain accusing him of teasing the girl. However, the incident was settled on November 14 at the community level after the boy agreed not to interfere in the girl’s life.

According to DSP Mahesh Bikram Shah, chief of Metropolitan Circle Office, Boudhha, police has taken five people including a woman in their control.

Talking to the Post, Karan, Maoist-in charge in Jorpati area, said they have taken three people in their captivity after they found locals beating them. He said that Maoist would carry out separate investigation on the murder case before setting them free. He, however, expressed ignorance about the arson and vandalism at Karki’s house in the area.

  23. one more feather on Maoists’ cap !

I guess it is more fun to censure the king for his message. I’m sure the maoists will become less barbaric once they join the govt in a week.

  24. Oye Nepali you are back for another round of spanking. Didn’t I just thrash you? Not enough uh? Ok, send me off in a helicopter and you can stay with your beloved Prachanda and Girija with your 40/hour week load shedding, 2 mile que for petrol, no clean water, Maoist thugs exthorting money left and right. You fcuking idiot. What Nepal needs to do is put people of your mental capacity and attitude in a cage and send you off to the middle of nowhere.
What the hell have you contributed to Nepal uh? Besides your vandalism. I have a feeling you must be one of those Gagan Thapa type student activist of a political party. Dumbass spend more time reading your books and less time getting involved in nonesense.

  25. Well said, Bhudai

  26. Bhudai, I too hate girija and his henchman, you can take all them with you in helicopter. And also the bloody killers of Maoists.

But yes all congress is not Girija’s henchman, all Maoists are not parasites. In both and even all of parties congress + Maoist + UML has most of people who love their country, we should never generalize (that you always do) Even in palace there are few people who love democracy and hate monarchy, they are in that hell because of they are victim of time.

I have always seen you that you can sometimes even go to extent to say “king is not that bad” or sort of similar thing but I have never found you justifying people in democratic parties. Nobody is perfect! and that too you go to generalize intention of whole big party and people in it. Remember load shedding now we are having is because of palace, and for your information Nepal GOVT will soon arrange so that we will not have such a big load shedding from next year. 12 hrs per day is just estimation of NEA officers they only calculate they can’t decide, they are not in level to. By end 2009 we will never have load shedding at all.

And what you know about Gagan Thapa? Do you know what situation are they going through in party? Girija doesn’t leave any one to be able to speak, thanks god we have some people arising voices inside party against Chote Raja.

I don’t know hidden intentions of Prachanda but I am sure what he and his party has done “till now” is for the good of our nation (except human errors and intentional bloody acts by opportunists inside that party, remember opportunists like you also enter such big parties at such time to take benefit)

By the way what is your way?
    ———————–
    Extreme kingship -Kamal thapa?
    mid kignship - Gyanendra?
Slight kingship, Extra Liberal towards Palace - Chote Raja?
    Liberal - Congress party/UML/Maoist?
Extreme Radical - Activity of Maoist at past?

Or are you among those who only want time of chaos and anarchy, no progress? You say you don’t want king, you don’t want liberal way, you hate radical way, then what the hell is your way? we call people like you ????????? ????? ?????.

  27. he’s only trying to clean up his image…nice try …but we’re no fools are we?

  28. I see nothing wrong in the King’s message.

  29. deciding to be human. Great move.
Then it will be all nepali ‘ style’ fight fight throw ur emotions over the place, and go on as usual.
Most nazis were good fathers and played classical music. I have no recommendations it is not a time for leaders, it is a time for equality. At best he is good at worst he is good, it is structure that has to GO. Like I already have said the son is not an option. And he knows that too.

  30. Nepali dude, did not I thrash you real time? Get alife man. For me, I am a real jerk. What more, you can call me an idiot. I have no brain, I bark 23 hours a day and breath the air entraped in president of Kazakstan’s bowels. I love this blog as I have nothing to do. Wagle should be credited for this opportunity.

  31. When prachande says he is ready for even more sacrifice of Nepalese for his bullshit war, we think he is great, he is heading for peace and betterment of Nepal and we support him and applause and feel proud for such a bastards but when king even talks of simple things why Nepalese get so irritated? King has at least a long family background for the contribution for Nepal. What prachande and maoist have? blood of innocent people and hollow speeches?

  32. Is it that Gyanendra has to stay silent because supremely democrats of Nepal are saying so? What kind of democracy is it that only SPA + M can speak and others have to stay silent?

Prachanda, with crazed Commie ideology, ended killing 13,000 people, he can still run around the country preaching democracy and issuing threats of further mayhem. He can defend his actions with a ‘white lie’ that it was all for us. All the current politicians run to Delhi with plea of intervention in Nepal on their behalf, they still claim to represent ’sovereign’ people and become MPs without elections being held. Terai burnt, the super conscious nagarik samaj assholes issue statements without making a single visit in the affected areas.

If all of this acceptable to all of us, then what is wrong in the King in defending his actions? If we are already accepting passively whatever the government and politicians say, then why should not the King try to convince?

  33. One of the major demands of the CA elections is to determine whether or not monarchy will remain. In this regard, I think the King has a right to defend the institution and speak for the institution which created Nepal in the first place. He may need to go, but the institution is not the person. And he is the one who needs to speak for it for people to hear what, why over the blood thirty and thug voices of Prachanda and his ilk. Hell, do we have a right to vote the Maoists out for good? If, yes then why does Prachanda speak whatever he wants against democratic norms and principles and the King is to shut up????
Does Americans treat their founding father’s in the same way as these maoists did by vandalising the statue of Prithvi Narayan Shah? Fine if we want to divide this nation back to the days of pre Prithvi let’s do it, but shame on anyone who tries to mention a United Nepal when we cannot even honour the person who had the vision to unite us!

  34. Lest we forget -
I again call for the prosecution of Pushpa Kamal Dahal (alias Prachanda the butcher) for his self admitted murder of innocents including babies in Magdi, Chitwan. Is anyone out there?

  35. Long live thy King and Long live thy People!

    Scoop,
Right here. We are listening and we will indeed put Pushpa and his gang of SPAMmers onto trial.
Don’t worry, his stooges like Wagle will get a bit of it too. Feeding themselves with terrorist money is an equal crime, if not less.

  36. Wagle is still pissed off because his father’s anti-national, india-fed company (Kantipur) was denied a Statellite TV license by the then Democratic government of His Majesty.

Wagle, who do you think is Stupid? YOU or US?

  37. Nepal: Constitutionalism’s Comeback?

    By Maila Baje

King Gyanendra’s Democracy Day message came loaded with a dose of political candor reminiscent of the era of active monarchy. The message, almost entirely unexpected, has sparked a predictable array of responses.

If a monarchy, for all practical purposes, in suspended animation has violated the interim constitution (in no better shape, one must add, considering the amendments being mulled), at least it wasn’t the side that started it. The government had overstepped its constitutional authority by forming a commission to probe the attack on King Gyanendra’s motorcade at Pashupati on Shivaratri.

Clearly, the interim constitution doesn’t recognize the monarchy. Nor have the arbiters of a new Nepal demonstrated the courage to confer on the king the rights and prerogatives of an ordinary citizen. They have allocated state funds to the royal family and tremble every time they discover that the disbursements remain untouched. Yet the government rushed to order an investigation into a physical attack that came nowhere close to the sustained calumny it has been heaping on the palace for the last 10 months.

King Gyanendra must have thought through his message. You can hardly quibble with the facts. With government-driven deaths during the Terai conflagration having outpaced the April Uprising toll, the context also becomes clear.

By delivering his defense of the February 1, 2005 takeover on Democracy Day, the monarch has brought to light other points. Let’s begin by considering the flip side of his profuse tributes to his grandfather. The return of King Tribhuvan from New Delhi dealt the final blow to King Gyanendra’s brief first reign. That maybe a worthless part of Nepali history to those ascendant today. It remains a significant element of the continuity of the monarchy Nepalis have hitherto experienced. Moreover, it puts the role of the current monarch in proper perspective.

Next comes the question of whether democracy actually dawned on Nepal on Fagun 7, 2007. Obviously, the anti-palace camp, including those in the Nepali Congress, believes not.
What this also means is that the Nepali Congress would have to redefine itself. Can it consider itself to be the oldest - and even only - democratic party in Nepal? Moreover, can it claim to have delivered democracy to the people twice before the rent-a-crowd tumult of last April?

And the CPN-UML? When Jhal Nath Khanal is forced to quote B.P. Koirala in describing how the Nepali people can survive without the monarchy, you get a feeling of his relevance to the debate. When you hear J.N. Comrade borrow Mod Nath Prashrit’s line and cite Buddha-era Lumbini as the paragon of Nepali republicanism, the world progressive become a little repulsive.

The Maoists are caught in their own web of lies. As if the Madhesis and janajatis haven’t done enough damage by exposing the ex-rebel top brass’ opportunism, the Indian military remains adamant in asserting their links with the ISI. C.P. Gajurel has all but conceded that Prachanda’s obsequious assertion of the Maoists having rejected ISI offers of assistance in the past was merely aimed at securing his (Gajurel’s) and Mohan Baidya’s release from Indian detention.

So when Krishna Bahadur Mahara says he believes the king’s message has underscored the urgency of establishing a republic right away, you have to ask whether he really believes this ruse can work, But, then, his party doesn’t seem to object to placing a four-year-old on the throne as long as the former rebels get the lion’s share of seats on the Regency Council.

There is a bright side to the outrage triggered by King Gyanendra’s message: a recognition of the need for a modicum of constitutionalism by those who thought they had a mandate to dispense with such distractions.

Maila Baje writes about Nepal at http://nepalinetbook.blogspot.com

  38. Wagle, do you think from your ass? Okay, let me put it a little straighter…were you born out of the womb of your father?

  39. WAGLE AND HIS FATHER BARK FROM THEIR KANTIPUR DESK. BOTH UNWANTED DOGS IN NEPAL AND ON INTERNET. NO WONDER HIS FATHER’S NETWORK GETS THE POUNDING FROM THE PEOPLE OF NEPAL AND THE JUNIOR DOG GETS THE HOUNDING FROM THE ONLINE WORLD. lol.

  40. I see there are still people out there whose senses have not left them and who can think for themselves instead of going with the flow to join the mob mentality. That’s one, any more with the sense of right and wrong? How can we have social harmony, with praises being sung to a slaughterer of good men and women, children and babies who were just introduced into this world with effort and great nurture by their mothers; the love and care drowned out by empty rhetoric given to hoodlums singing bloody praises to the butcher of butcher’s? Have we lost the meaning of love, mutual respect and decency for human life? - So much so that a rhetorical and unconvincing “Sorry” in front of his (prachanda’s) own thugs will suffice? Where is the honour in that? And now we have a choice to vote for this mass murderer? Am I missing something here or am I along with a handful in par with the few voices that spoke against Adolf Hitler while most of the nation was caught up in the thunderingly hollow and dangerous rhetoric of this man?

  41. I am with you too scoop. Let’s prosecute all of these butchers.

  42. Here is a prediction: The next thing this Dog (Wagle) will bark is a Protest rally held in Kathmandu against HM’s highly valued speech!

    Bhow bhow wagle?

  43. I call on all honest citizens (and I do hope Wagle, UWB and your sugar daddies also join) to pressure the government to sign the Rome statute to try mass murderers and human rights abusers especially in times of internal strife in the international courts. If this is done, forget about our Bannana courts here, I will be the first to file my Magdi case in this court against comrade butcher.

Maybe, if this UWB wants to do some good, they should ask their network to start a signature campaign for the government to sign the Rome statute. Sooner the better, because now we can try the butcher for the Magdi slaughter, but later we may end up having to try him for numerous more. Too many honest lives are at stake.

  44. Scoop,

SPAMmers are too scared to join all those courts unlike the real democratic government under HM’s. Do you remember that it was under HM’s rule that Nepal joined the UN Human rights watchdog group? The then government was not scared of anything because it new that it was RIGHT!

But these SPAM murderers know that if they join the Rome Statuette, many many people will bring Criminal cases against them. I know many Nepalis and foreigners who are already preparing cases to file against various components of SPAM.

It would be fun to see Prachanda in the Hague - two reasons for this. First, InterPol notices are running against him. So the EU police will arrest him first. And then, he will be tried for crimes against humanity.

Dirty Soul Pushpa, he is trying to be a Fidel Castro. But bastard doesn’t know that he has blood of his own country men in his hand. And what about SPA? Ah, Girija and gang will have many cases against them too - Supporting people with terrorist tag against them. You know, the repercussions of these cases will be wide. A lot of legal technicalities.

  45. KG to defend his actions is his fundamental right. But I think he is still better gone than remain in any form. We cannot justify staying of an evil force just because there are others too. Nepal is better off with one less -ve force.

  46. A fundamental disconnect here.

HM King Gyanendra was not justifying or defending his action. He was merely explaining the technicalities. As a Head of State and King of Nepal, it is his not his ‘fundamental right’, it is his ‘FUNDAMENTAL AUTHORITY’. SPAMmer terrorists say what you want, the fact of the matter remains that you have no right to govern Nepal!

You have the power because of the violence and this violence will sweep you off too.

  47. Bhuday Pundit:
Nice try at being funny dumbass. But it would have worked better if you could spell.

  48. sounds lots of royalists are employed to write comment in this blog, i heard late queen had lots of money in swiss bank, may be gyane is investing for his life blood.

but u ill persons, ur time gone. go to the corner of ur room and sitdown as a GOBER GANESH!!!!!!!!!!! OKI?

  49. LOL. Royalists are paid to write. Royalists are paid to instigate violence. Royalists this and Royalists that. Actually, mostly all Nepalis (minus SPAM) are Royalists.

Faggot, the end point still is: SPAM is made of terrorists with interpol notices against them and believe you me, we won’t let it go before each and every member of SPAM faces war crime trials.

  50. in a democratic situation…….all types of people have the right to say wat they think…..so wat if a suspended king says wat he thinks? why make hue and cry?

  51. hello hell, and others who think that king has right to speak.

Yes he can speak but as a ordinary citizan, not as a king and not justifying his deeds that has been proved to be against good of nation.

  52. In this age when every thing should be transparant, the king spoke, to let the public know. Its now time for the public to decide what is right or wrong, whether we want the king or not. The SPAM has no moral authority to decide, nor has the intermin parliament.
The SPA were elected, about 7 years back and the M is not even elected at all. The 7 years back election does not represent the view of the people of nepal right now. Just because, you put 50-60000 people (party workers) on the street, does not imply you represent the public. First face the elections and then decide.

  53. G just confirmed what an arrogant idiot he is-what bad timing! Like someone said his political astuteness is a big zero. He is just giving ammunition to his opponents.

  54. You are right sonam, SPAM has no moral authority to decide our fate but I dont know if you accidently or deliberately missed out King too in this.

noname - you surely dont learn. If you claim to be a true citizen and not biased or royalist as some claim or think you to be, I suggest you stick to neutral views. KG is as evil as SPAM. We need to learn and move forward. Justifying one regressive force against another is not progressive.

  55. Kirat: where have you been man? Finally someone with a brain. There are two oposite extreams of people here. You have Congressi/Mobadhi chumpchas like this idiot of a human being who calls himself ‘Nepali’ and then there are people like noname and the lot who think its okay for the King to do anything.
The king is not just an ordinary citizen - stop using this argument! He is a ceremonial monarch and along with that title comes responsibility and rules for what he can and cannot say. He cannot spit out stupid nonsesical comments at a time like this and provoke more instability. Does he not understand what the hell is going on in Nepal?

  56. Having said that, you should know that I equally despise SPAM. I just think its not a good idea to revive a Frankenstein when there is already one Jason and another Freddie around. They are all out to kill innocent people.

  57. The K is not a ceremonial monarch. The I. Parliament have stripped him of all powers, and the SPAM have said that he is in a suspended state. In this stage he can speak in his defence, and the SPAM should consider appointing a attorney to defend the king. Everyone is entiteled to fair law, even Saddam was given a laywer.

  58. None of the Power hungry politicians represent Nepal.
The SPA too old elections, the M only has the guns election, the king only 20-30% people voted last time.
Have a free & fair elections to see who wins and the winner gets the first prize to milk, suck and sell Nepal to the higgest bidder in the market.

  59. Sonam,

20-30% vote the last time was a good move, given the fact that the main political parties (inspite of being requested to) boycotted the elections. The parties and candidates who stood were being butchered by SPAM terrorists. The people who went and voted were receiving death threats. Against, these odds 20-30% voting pattern is good. More importantly those were just local municipal elections.

In local(municipal) elections in big democracies like India or US, the voting is just around 35%. So the elections under the King were awesome fact.

Now, consider this…SPAM just doesn’t want elections and wants to rule with the barrel of gun and mobs. Nepal just needs someone who is hardcore! Beat the ass up of SPAM terrorists and say to the 20,000-30,000 who get together to riot at the speed of thought, to get their acts straight or get straightened. There is no money in Nepal to be spent forever on Violence and SPAM terrorists.

There is just no alternative to Monarchy in Nepal! Just no alternative!
You will find a bunch of SPAM thugs crying over here and there. But the brain of Nepal is in the right place to get things straightened up. SPAM just needs to count it’s days before it is entangled in legal battles for crimes against humanity that it has committed.

  60. If you believe in democracy then why worry about CA elections. Let the people decide. If they vote for active monarchists, then active monarchy. By the way didn’t they give their mandate during jana andolan 2?

Hey royalists, why are you afraid of elections? Are you worried because you won’t get enough vote even to save your deposits! or you think that people will greet you with “kalo moso” and “jutta ko mala”. Do you still think that Nepalis are living in stone age? No.

The only option left for royalists is to face the elections (if they think they are not cowards) and be wiped off completely from the politics of Nepal. If you try to block the elections, you will be wiped off earlier. So enjoy few more months of taxpayers money (coz you will get screwed eventually).

  61. Barking dog saldom bites. Now it is time to go to the hell King

Its enough for us , Ghati Ghati samma bhaisakyo .

Will you plz stop addressing to ‘Janata ” again.
we are fade up listining your MAHABADEE since 238 years

    Nepaldiary

  62. noname - you are the most undemocratic and a royalist thug I have come across. If you fail to see through and blindly lick KG’s ass we will met out the same treatment we did him sometime back. Atleast he had his high walls of Narayanhiti. I dont think you do.

  63. you see people like noname are living in a dreamland with these unrealistic ideas and expectations. forget about him - there really is no room for people with extreamist opinions like noname.

kishor boy, you ask why royalists are scared of elections? how many elections did we have in 12 years of democracy? I believe it was one. Girija, Deuba Mukune were all too scared of holding elections. In fact even now if the congress could have their way they would like to keep Nepal the current status quo and not hold elctions. so let’s not go there. The problem with Nepal is that all of its leaders be it the Shah autocracy or the Girija/Deuba/Mukune autocracy has never cared about the country’s well being. They are all equally worthless let’s not even debate this issue. I would say in the History of Nepal there have been a few good leaders (BP Koirala, Tanka Acharya, Ganesh Man Singh, King Tribhuvan to some extent) other than that the rest have all been parasites, worthless pieces of sh*ts.

  64. It’s funny to SPAMmers come crying talking about elections. Elections. That’s the only word they do not know of. Actually they have a few words in their vocabulary: Democracy, Mobocracy and of course Moronocracy. Elections, yes, have them so that Pushpa Dahal can swat your ass more legitimately. The fight is never for King should be there or not! That is your dirty SPAMming agenda. King should and will be there! The fight is whether SPAM should be there or not! And believe you me, it won’t be!

Royalist! Right that’s what I might be. Right that’s what we Nepalis (minus SPAM) are! We are not hypocrites. We belong to the right side of the law and culture. And culture and the righteousness is on our side.
Now, kids, go and throw stones and burn tires. That’s what you all are good at!

  65. I so very much love kicking the sh*t out of SPAMmers. Ooooohhhh my o my, I am so lo-b-ing it! Right here, in the heart of SPAMmers (terrorists) paradise, kicking the hell out of them!

If Nepal were to have leaders based on Shrewd skills, tactics, policies and results of course beating ass (with words), Prachanda and the gang of SPAMmers would have no chance, would they. I do lo-b-e it.

  66. correction:

If Nepal were to have leaders based on Shrewd skills, tactics, policies and results and* of course beating ass (with words), Prachanda and the gang of

  67. Its obvious noname is a royalist bitch. His ass will no longer be up for sale if monarchy is gone.

  68. long live the king, i see you as protector of nepal and nepalis from all this fucking parties and maiost.

  69. I don’t know if there is democracy in the country, why speaking of anyone whoever it may be should be called barking.

  70. UWB: comment removed as the email of this user doesn’t match with the orginal pundit. Pls don’t use othre’s name.

  71. Bhudai,

Your last sentence needs some editing

  72. Merai goru ko barrai takka. hajur gyanendra kura thik cha. coz everybody must have the right to xpress their view. gyane girja n prachan all the brahma bishu n mahesh. its all bahun(bads).

  73. We hear too much talk of the King being suspended. Yes, but by whome, have the people voted to suspend him? The fact is people are laying low for now so that peace can prevail in this nation, with the maoist guns tucked away for good. CA elections will be the judge of who is suspended, but one thinks that the maoists will not take it well when they lose if elections are held fairly. They have even threatened to take up arms again if the elections do not satisfy them, so really we will again see a confrontation between the democrats and these murderers, and one hopes this time the democrats not listen to the Indian methods of solving problems here. We all know that Sitaula is a RAW agent, and even maoists like Gajurel have been hooked in by RAW. This is clear as 15 of the top demands of maoists which involved India were casually dropped from their 40 plus demands. Hell, even their own cadres have felt the pinch and will tell you so on the quiet. The message of the maoists is confusing. They want to run with the hounds and dine with the wolves. Unfortunately, things are falling apart for them, they are losing their thunder, this is why we see desperate and ravaging mad statements coming out in the media today by moist leaders talking about going back to arms and desperately trying to announce this cointry a republic even before the citizens vote, and also talk of storming the palace. Desperate times for the comrades which could lead to desperate measures. This is a result of recruiting children with false rhetoric who have no ideas of their own. Easy targets comrades for any head hunters. This is the result of trying to sell defunct ideas and adapt it to a geagraphically tiny but culturally large nation. This is the result of having a lack of ideas and copying defunct and failed regimes.

  74. this is when you know you are just really desperate. You copy my name and post a comment that isn’t even FUNNY. At least if you are going to do something like that make it funny. What a dim witted moron! Can’t come up with his own name and insult me directly. How pathetic.
And dickwort you shouldn’t make nasty comments about Homosexuals in Nepal since they might bring their own andolan. I guess then you’ll come out with your real identity.

  75. UWB: if someone posts a comment with my name and the email doesn’t match then don’t post it. You dumbasses.

  76. If CA is going to decide everyone’s faith, then everyone has to speak out loud. You see it took 25 lives in Tarai to put their voice on the national agenda. So if you leave your faith to three guys (GP, prachande, Makune), surely many of us going to miss many of our agenda. And there is another conspiracy going around. Maoists are saying they want to decide everything through present Interim Parliament bypassing the CA. May be maoists has calculated their chances of winning.

  77. Armed Indian SSB enter Nepal border, encircle police post

    By Kamal Panthi

GULERIYA, Feb 19 - Irate over an altercation with Nepali policemen, Indian paramilitary– Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel crossed the border into Nepal and surrounded the Nepal Police post in Bardiya district on Saturday.
Some 20 armed paramilitary SSB personnel led by Indian Police Inspector Amarnath Chand also threatened to bomb the Nepali police post yesterday night.

The altercation erupted between the two sides after the SSB personnel severely beat up a number of Nepali policemen when they crossed the border into India to graze their cattle.

The SSB personnel armed with modern weapons including SMGs and SLRs also threatened to bomb our police post, Police Inspector Ganesh Bastola told ekantipur.

Local residents of Bhimmapur VDC said the SSB personnel have several times entered Nepal and beat up some locals in the past.

Following the incident the SSB has barred people from crossing the Indo-Nepal border in the area.

  78. I am not seeing differences between SPAM and the king. Maoist who are already included in parliament and still threatening the people to raise the arms if their demand are not fulfilled. And SPA silent toward it shows their indirect support to them. That is why SPAM got negative feedback due to the killing of 30 innocent people without regret in terai. Both SPAM and the king should regret their action first.

  79. Debate going on!

  80. Wagle,

Why post such incidents of your SPAM masters’ master (India’s) indulgence in Nepal? You people are filth to be talking about this.

  81. I will be away for next few hours. I will come back to beat the SPAM asses again in sometime. Hold your asses still till then!

  82. why cant you cricket 8 parties respect the last wish of …………….

  83. Why we are busy accusing one another and not working for the CA elections ? Now we must declare the date of CA elections and bring the Maoists in the cabinet. Otherwise, there is going to be a civil war on the ethnic lines.

  84. GYANENDRA can’t be declared a culprit if he defends his Feb 1 coup. EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO EXPRESSION. Let him bark.
The political parties that are criticsizing him should have stopped Gyanendra before he went on. We knew, every year he does that- he did that yesterday. he defended himself, let him do that.
Let us work for republican state and leave these recessives.

  85. this is what u call “chokta khana gaki budhi jhol ma dubera mari” but someone i know says its” Jhol khana gaki budhi lai chokta le nai hirkayo” hehehehe….i read royalists like noname say G has the right to speak his mind but was he really speaking his mind…it was more like speaking from his arse…” mukh thune chaak(arse) bata bolne” jasto…i was thinking more abt Komal…i wonder how her birthday went….happy… maybe…sad…more likely…threatend…definately…BTW G threatend us thru his speech if anyone read between the lines…Hey Bhudai wat does Bhudai really mean…coz i saw u noticed spelling mistake in Bhuday…then probably Bhudai has diff meaning from Bhuday as well…is there?

  86. angelica: whoever Wrote ‘Bhuday’ was just imitating me and trying to be funny. The key word being ‘trying’.

  87. Everyone (SPAM) says king is history, but the moment he opens his mouth, everyone sits up and listen. Ingone him and work towards the CA polls. If the Ca polls are not held on time, this guy will come back, and then there will be no blog for the next 6 months.

  88. Nepal is moving at a fast pace to be the most loktantric country. Everyday we see new bold exercise of loktantric practice in Nepal. Recent example being destruction of statues of late King Mahendra in many places in the country because the present King admitted his failure in his speech. Congratulations to the Maoists and their supporters.

By the way, Pranchanda wants to transform Nepal into a equitable and classless society. Caste and Class-based societial system was introduced by the Malla kings in Nepal. Now the Maoists must destroy all the art, temples and palaces built by the Malla kings. Then caste and class-based society will be automatically erased.

  89. In accordance with the declaration, every Nepali citizen regardless of age, race, religion, sex or status has been bestowed with a right to voice his/her opinion under the rule of law. That is the essence of liberal democracy. It is the notion of equality, liberty and freedom of all human beings that differentiates democracy from all other forms of governance. In congruence, any citizen has an inherent right to exercise those fundamental rights under the rule of law. Unless the King is considered non-living or a foreigner (which he is not), he too is bestowed with the same individual rights as any other Nepali. Maybe not as a head of state, since the constitution has mothballed monarchy for the time being, but as an individual, he possesses every right to voice his tale.

The SPAMers have pointed to the unconstitutionality of the King’s speech but they remain at fault. Regardless of which constitution they are referring to, there is no such clause or mention in any constitution that proscribes the King from making statements. Even if the King is regarded as an ordinary citizen, there is no such mention in any post 1990 constitution that forbids any Nepali from expressing an opinion under the rule of law. Also, unless Nepal is taken as a dictatorial nation, it would be quite improbable to have a law that would prevent any accused from an exonerating attempt.

The right to defend oneself from potential harm is irrefutably a universal human right and the King has every right to defend himself from the incriminating charges brought against him. As the SPAMers have charged the King with numerous accounts of human rights violations, like any other individual, the King has a right to explain himself. Even the dictum of “human rights declaration” grants every individual an inviolable right to defend oneself against any penal offense. Again, unless Nepal is an absolute dictatorship like North Korea, the law still allows for an individual to express oneself and defend oneself as long as it does not contradict or violate it. And from the King’s statement, there is nothing to indicate that he has broken any law of Nepal.

Two obvious conclusions can be drawn from this ruckus. Either Nepal is not a democratic nation as proclaimed, or the SPAMers and their affiliates have exhibited a blatantly hypocritical stance. While the SPAMers wailed clamoring for free speech during the royal regime, they themselves are clearly unwilling to allow the same. They seem to be hell bent on preferential treatment. From what has become apparent, anything unpalatable to the SPAMers will be abominated as undemocratic, un-constitutional and illegitimate. Such partisan attitude exhibited by the SPAMers only negates any semblance of democratic accreditation.

  90. Nepal has been declared a democratic state.

  91. Good one SHAMAM. SPAMmers have one thing common in their blood: TERRORISM. SPAMmers are terrorists and it is our duty to fight off these terrorists. NO matter what, no matter how. WE WILL NOT GIVE UP UNTIL WE GET RID OF THESE TERRORISTS. WAGLE, sound it out loud and clear to your masters.

  92. I am such a net savvy guy that I know almost everything that happens on the net. And with all my knowledge, I can truly proclaim that this blog gets the most hate comments I have ever seen in my life. The owner of the blog or the contributors are so ridiculed and kicked in the ass by the commentators that it becomes demeaning to have such a blog.

  93. K.G. and his family should leave this country gracefully and never return. If he is so irresponsible and stupid and cannot take advantage of changing moods of the people, theres really no point for him to stick around. Maoists are assoholes alright, but this Gyane Chor is a king and people looked up to him and expected from him but all he has ever been is a disappointment. I think he should just disappear and stop playing with people’s feelings. Whoever stays - G or Prachanda, its going to be the same for Nepal. Both are corrupt, parasitic vultures. But my vote is G must leave. Being a king he has let his people down.

noname - unless you are a royalist asslicker, you should rem that monarchy has systematically killed much more people in its 240 yrs of rule, be it literally or psychologically. Dont just blame SPAM for all the mess we are in today. Infact the roots of Nepal’s probs dates back to centuries during which Shah kings did nothing and practised divide & rule. We are seeing its results today. Common man stop being such an arse will you.

  94. I dont support any of these SPA or M or G but I am reserving my opinion because I believe in none of them. Right now I am trying to understand which one is the best option out of these worst three and I still dont have the answer. Now dont come back giving me your stupid reasons why you think G should rule.

  95. Sharki ko chhoro: out of 15000 people killed more than half were killed by Gyane and his NA.
Gyane has right to his opinion at the same time we also have the right to reject his opinion… enough of this blood sucker… I am not defending the maoist either… if the maoist cannot perform then they will also be booted out… time will tell… majority of us were fed up of the voilence and agreed to bring the maoist into political stage… we opted for the peace to forgive the past violence brought upon us by the maoist. What did the Gyane do besides bringing more problems… if he was for the people then we would not be here.

  96. Since, we have democracy we are able to speak freely if not then this blog would be closed by Gyane and his blood sucker chamchas… I am for the democracy no matter how bad it is… PATIENCE… as long people have the right to vote then we can kick out any Prachanda, Madav or even Girija. Gyane is talking about the Feb 1 takeover only… she should be justifying the reason to kick out Sher B Deuba on Oct, 2002 if I am correct… after that it was basically his rule… he picked on those PM who would serve his interest… he had no shame to kick out Deuba and bring him back to again to kick him out again. Rulers or politicians who do not change according to day and age will face the same fate he is facing these days.

  97. If Gyane has the courage then he should himself abolish the monarchy and join the politics then try to win the heart and soul of the people. Enough of Silver fed people giving too much lecture… we don’t buy what you have in your plate anymore… besides, late king Prithvi Narayan Shah uniting the country can someone tell me what good has the monarchy brought to our country… if possible we will kick him out from the palace and the country.

  98. Impressed by King

    Impressed by King
ing’s one address scares the Shhiit out of the terrorists and Spammers. THIS IS WHAT THE IMAGE OF KING IS. His one address is equivalent to 1000s speeches of these terrorists. 99% of people want democracy. Any data irrelevant to that is the corruption of journalism, and I am sure Nepalese dont even know what statistics is.

They again belong to the 2ns and 3rd kind.

Honestly, How many of you think that Prachu and Babu bhaiya will not be gunned down someday? Will you be surprised? I am sure 100%, no one will be surprised. They know they can die any moment. is there any point in the history, if I misses to read, Maoists and terrorist prevail? The answer is NO. It will not.

They can see their death in mirror. One morning you will wake up, and see–Babu and prachu Bhaiya have been gunned down.

    Jai Nepal!!!

  99. Types of Nepalese

    Three Types of Nepalese
    am a BIG ROYALIST.

There are three categories of people in Nepal:

1> Royalist: Educated, learned, wise, and who can foresee the future. The most talented and loyal. They want to work, and dedicated to make the nation prosperous. They are religious, but not extremist.

2> Democratic: People who are corrupted and scared of unemployment if King’s direct rule is imposed. Will even sell their daughter, sister and mother, if they are paid–even a cup of coffee. Highly uneducated, so they chose politics as their career; they wont find jobs.

3> Maoists: Uneducated, illiterate, sheep minded, poor, hungry, and also the terrorists. Forcibly want to create communal riots, entertain in civil war, and DO NOT like to work; they rather want to rob, kill, steal, murder, rape so that they can eat.

I am proud I belong to the FIRST category and I AM A ROYALIST.

    Jai Desh! Jai Naresh!

  100. Simply the SPAM should just do their job of making sure elections are held. After the vote, then the legal government can decide legislature. Right now, none of them have the peoples mandate to do anything, it is all illegal. The SPAm is also working hard to make it difficult for new parties to register for elections - if this does nopt smack of undemocratic intentions I don’t know what does? Interestingly one of the provisions the SPAm have agreed to is not allowing criminals to pe a party member - if that is the case then I don’t know why Prachanda the murderer and Girija the crook are waisting their time doing politics.

  101. If the people are interested in a revolution however (i.e. the complete overhaul of the state), then let’s not bother with elections, we have to launch a real peoples movement and oust everyone (the old monarchial system, the SPA and the maoists). Let’s wipe the slate clean and rebuild. This revoution will mean launching of a new front of common citizens in their respective areas (No parties, we can register for parties after the revolution after kicking out all these old scoundrels out for good). No to any of the old murderers and thugs. Why go for any of these present party agendas, when we cannot even have a SPAM government deliver goods and services and clean the garbage (including their own human garbage). Yes, the question of the mess after the storm arises - but are’nt we already in a mess, with potential for more? And can’t we trust ourselves to do the right thing over the SPAM?

  102. LONG LIVE KING GYNENDRA!
    HANG MOAIST!
    HANG PRACHANDRA!
    HANG GIRIJA!
SHOOT ALL THE MEMBER OF BULLSHIT NEPALI PARLIMENT!
NEPALI PARLIMENT MEMBERS DONOT HAVE NEPALI PEOPLE MANDATE.
NEPALI PARLIMENT MEMBERS MANDATE HAS EXPIRED LONG TIME BACK.
NEPALI PARLIMENT MEMBERS ARE SELF MADE RULE OF NEPAL.
NEPALI PARLIMENT MEMBERS ARE ALL CORRUPTS PEOPLE WHO RULED NEPAL FOR 14 YEARS!
MOAIST ARE ALL MURDERS AND KILLERS!

  103. Adesh,

Nice logical comments. You hit a few nails out there.

    Jay Madesh,

Nice spirit. Just don’t give it, till you win the fight.

  105. Everyone is barking in nepal:king, spa, maoist, forum, janjaties, un, usa.
But one one is interested in solving the problem.
The other day: the ambassador of Switzerland went to Biratnagar to establish a conflict management research center.
The people of madesh are dying and this guy is doing research as to why people are dying.
After some months he will also bark his findings.
Its time for the common people to bark, and then all the previous barkers will shut up.

  106. http://www.bpbpersonals.blog.co.uk ,

Although I am not arguing on Nepal will you. I just wanted to confirm: You are the guy working as a Waiter in some road side restaurant in UK right? The same guy who just wants to stay in Britain by hook or crook?
    Kindly confirm.

  107. correction:

Although I am not arguing on Nepal with* you.

  108. I have been so busy taking on each of these SPAMmers that I can’t even remember the Nepalis (aka the royalists, mandales, nationalists, etc.). I meant:

Ashutosh Shrivastav (10:05:19) you made very nice logical comments. Looking forward to more some from you here, there and everywhere.

  109. Guys,

Why don’t we first remove the thing that’s been a pain in every Nepali’s ass for the last 220 or whatever years? Yes, the Shah dynasty. Then we can see what else we can remove. But first, start of with taking away the biggest collective pain in the butt.

I guarantee, even the dumb royalists will breathe a sigh of relief.

  110. Bahun and Newar are like AIDS. We need some good medication to make Nepal free from these ruling terrorists.

If anyone argues for Spammers and Terrorists:
    I suggest

Go to school to get education
If you turn out like Bhattrai, who I believe has fake degree from Jawaharlal University, India–enlighten your wisdom
Socialize, make good friends, change your behavior, read news, analyze rather than blindly following
    If possible go to Rehab

    And last,

Shoot yourself, if you cannot change your terroristic behavior.

  111. I guess we forget why we as a Nepali came into being- was it by accident? No way, learn to hold dear your roots otherwise forever be a state like Palestine. And people like Manan will be the sly that will reap the blood money from endless and protracted fight for nationhood and sovereignty. C’mon, buttheads learn to be real-tendency to get misled and have missed placed priorities does not bode well for people who can blog and own a computer. All this computer thumping dudes and dudettes have superior complex which are far from ground reality. All they preach is driven by tit bits, hearsay and personal superiority complex cocooned in four walls. No wonder few in the jungle and in the street (rent a crowd) can change the situation whereas all geeks theorize and act Dante- Bullshit.

Your comments are nothing but show off. You think you guys are smart but in actuallity its other way around. The people in villages and rural towns are dictating it, not by themselves but as proxy of Maoist and 7 parties. Just be aware you have no stake in all this, just have to accept that is given or take a flight out of Nepal. Shitheads.
