Its sad that traditional army which has untill now with more or less success restricted Maoists in major urban area is getting hit. The monarch has to realize this before this fire gets to Narayanhiti. 4600 troops stationed in palace might be able to fend off maoists but dont forget that maoists started their movement with preworldwar II 303 and a few cadres. Most importantly, now people have awoken. King can not have the monopoly of power, money and sainthood. He is not malik of Nepalese people. Lets hope that the current king realizes this before its too late. Otherwise, its time for him to go. At the same time, lets hope that democratic forces will prevail over atrocious maoists. Only solution is for people to realize that they have to take the decisions in their hand.. The current movement brings a lot of hope for the country to share the great asian progress brought by India and China.
